For anyone else who doesn't know about this kid. In 2020 I'm guessing he took a covid redshirt, either that or he barely played. Then in 2021 he was a small time contributor.

He entered the transfer portal this year. He looks like a big body that has a lot of eligibility left.

4 years remaining right? if he RS last year... definitely an underrated aspect of the transfer portal this year is the covid extra year. Getting a RS freshman in the portal with game experience and 2 years of being in a college weightlifing/nutrition program is the same as getting a high school kid, both with 4 years remaining.

He played in 9 games as a TF and 11 games last year. So he's a junior with a bonus covid year to play who hasn't burned a RS (he has 4 years to play 3 of remaining eligibility).

He just got offered by Oregon too. Kid will have a lot of high level interest given his potential. I'm not sure what more there is to read into other than that 6'6", 275 lbs, athletic DL are fairly rare
