As @TheRichtShow stated, he's not going to Clemson because of a girl though it doesn't hurt. The girlfriend is a year ahead of him and going to Clemson in the fall. Bresee will be an early enrollee so that would be a few months later.
He loves it at Clemson. He loves Smart at UGA too but Clemson is ahead "by a nose" right now. The kid will take his visits and then choose. I think he's tired of seeing the same things repeatedly at places and so he wants to do his officials and then decide and be done with it.
I get a Clemson vibe out of it.
