Right now I'm reminded of where we were this same time in 2014. We were all calling for Al Golden's head, but we knew we had to endure one more season of mediocrity before the BOT would seriously make any moves to fire him. We had to sit through an awful 2015 season that ended with Clemson mopping the floor with Miami and we knew that was the end of Al Golden.

Here we are again. We all know how the 2019 season is going to go and it's going to be painful to watch. Richt will of course lose to teams we have no business losing to. Half empty stadiums etc. It's really going to be rough, but at least we know it'll be the end of Richt.

And wow, it's been 4 terrible hires in a row. The HC hire in 2020 really has to be it.

Have been convinced for a long time that this program was little more than a zombie. Everyone who is halfway decent abandons ship the first chance they get the least little bit of positive attention. It’s been that way since sometime around the end of 2003.
Nobody wants to be here. That includes recruits, coaches, and even waterboys.

The toxicity surrounding the program will only get way worse when Ritch trots out the same four plays for UF and get waxed

People (coaches & players) can come and go from this program, and it can maintain success. They key is leadership. Leadership recognizes deficiencies and corrects them. So last year, everyone knew MR's awfense was trash, we called for changes. But the idiot calling the shots (Richt) put his ego before the team, and told Mark Helfrich thanks, but no thanks. This year would have resulted in us going back to the ACC CG, and perhaps giving Clemson some trouble. If Manny leaves, so be it, you just go forward and hire Alex Grinch or Corey Raymond and the whole thing just keeps on humming. We arent Bama, this is true, but Miami doesnt have to be Bama to beat Bama, it only has to be Miami. We dont have great leadership, what we have is clear and blatant nepotism & greed running the show, and of course the same could be said of the BoTs. They hired a zero power yes man in the current AD, because they dont want anyone challenging them. Miami's BoTs doesnt care about football or having an actual set of knowing eyes on the football team. They will continue to make poor hires and give the HC enough rope to hang themselves and thereby the entire program.
