2019 Starters (Offense)

Jesus you must be a blast at parties. It’s the off season so we need **** to talk about.

I’m a positive person. But when it comes to the NCAA, just how many examples do you need before you realize that if this ruling goes our way, it will be the first time. Ever.

Just ask Dewan Hernandez. With virtually no evidence, the NCAA screwed his college basketball career and our season.

Tell me how I can logically expect them to do anything but what they’ve always done. When it comes to Miami, they always pick the ruling that goes against us.

The only reason we did not get something close to a death penalty the last time, is because they had actually broken laws. Real laws. And we were going to sue them.

Dallas sets the tone for the running game and the team. He’s aggressive and backs **** up. That said, the other two are ready to play. I agree. But odd man out? Enos will find a way to keep D on the field. He keeps **** straight.
Agree!

AMEN! 1,000% in agreement with you!!!!

If DeeJay can return to his freshman year form, he’ll be a difference maker. But he’s got to drop that unnecessary weight and get his explosiveness back.

Lingard and Davis should see a fair share of touches, too.

I love DeeJay but he needs to cut weight Davis an Lo are good enough to take his spot but i see Deejay as more of a utility back not a every down back

Good post! Agree with everything except J. Miller. I believe that he will remain at DT.

If Martell gets the waiver I think he beats out Jarren Williams for the starting job. JW is arguably the best passer on the team, I say arguable because Martell can sling it too.

Martell’s mobility makes him very dangerous and give defenses even more reason to have to account for him.

Hightower way too low

I see a lot of people saying that Dallas won’t be the starter game one. I made this post predicting Dallas will be the starter by the Florida game. Do I think Lingard/Davis will take some of his reps during the season? Yes and I hope it does happen.

I just think the staff will go with experience at the rb spot to start. Davis did come on nicely at the end of the year and Lingard is coming off an injury.

DeeJay was never explosive or quick. Hes a shifty player that always makes something out of nothing. He was high school fast but his bread and butter has been playing kind of like Dallas Crawford. He will do a lot of damage as a utility player.

This was a bad take.

This was a bad take.

Crawford found the hole despite muddy blocking. His ability to get short yardage is similar to Dallas's ability to be patient or see a hole opening. I'd say he has more balance than Dallad Crawford and is faster but the way he looks at the field infront of him appears the same.

Tate will start if eligible, if not hopefully JW steps up. I expect Dallas to be the game 1 starter but we'll rotate a lot there. JT, KJ and Hightower out wide. Some of y'all are sleep on KJ, he's gonna eat this year and wouldn't be shocked if he leads the team in catches, him or Brevin. Would be nice if JT did though.

Interested to see how the OL shakes out, there's potential for competency there.

In the event we get Parker Braun.

lol @ Cleveland Reed SPLITTING TIME with him on the depth chart.

You kidding, right?

I’m sure there’s threads floating around like this one but I’m too lazy to go and look. Figured I’d take a shot at predicting the starters on offense for the opener. This is factoring in Martell if he gets a waiver and if Miami gets Braun.

QB-Martell or Williams
HB-Dallas
WR-Osborn, Thomas, Hightower
TE-Jordan
T-Kennedy and Scaife
G-Braun/Reed and Donaldson
C-Gaynor

Comment away.
qb Williams or martell if gets waiver
rb dallas/lindgard is 1b
wr pope, Thomas, Osborne at slot
te Jordan/Mallory in 2 te sets
t kennedy/campbell or scaife
g Scaife or reed /donaldson
c Gaynor.
im hopeful for campbell so I put him at rt but if not then Scaife is rt with reed at lg mark pope is a 5 star recruit the man is gonna win one of 3 spots at wr. Thomas I think is other outside with Osborne in slot with Harley, Njoku, hightower, wiggins betting plenty of time also

Stars don’t mean ****. I’d take Hightower over Pope any day of the week.
