The staff is going to try him at strong side defensive end to start per Ivins. He might move in later on but they want to see what he can do there.

Fair enough...I don't think Ivins is the be all/end all on such matters though. Just my opinion

By that I mean he’s 6’4 260, most of TE are taller and heavier In the nfl. Darnell is 6’8 270 right now. Let that marinate.

Not really. Zach Ertz, George Kittle, OJ Howard, and Hunter Henry are all the same size give or take an inch and 5 pounds. Njoku is not Kelce or Gronk but no one else in the league really is. Darnell is really on a different level compared to any tight end in the NFL.
