2019 OT Chris Hinton receives offer

Not mad at Georgia becoming our secondary recruiting base

Not in the least. GA has quickly closed the gap on FL/TX/CA and you could argue it's now a Big4 states in recruiting, numbers back it up.

Yup

Yeah, Atlanta has a HUGE population of retired athletes. The guy I asked about Hinton has 3 kids who play HS sports north of Atlanta, and he frequently tells me about some retired athlete's son or daughter tearing it up in Atlanta preps.

Georgia, as a state, may not be at the pure numbers of FL/CA/TX, but the Atlanta area is going to rival SoFla as a recruiting hotbed.

Chris's younger brother Myles (2020 OT) received an offer from Miami today.

Yes it is former 7x pro bowler Chris Hinton's son.

I don't know, maybe we should have Coach McEltooth and the others wait until they can see him throw the football in person.

I'm sorry, wrong board, please move this to GatorBait.net.

This is a positive because I've heard a plenty former NFL guys say that if they could do it all over again they would play for The U. Don't discount the appeal of the area and the U nationally to recruits. Recruiting will be more about determining who we take as we start winning big games and titles.
