2019 O-Line

You lost me at "keep the same o-line coach"

I gotta be fair, the o-linemen that coach searels has been left with, many shouldnt even be on UM's roster. The first recruiting produced none, the 2nd and 3rd recruiting classes upgraded the talent, and if we can keep the 2 we got committed and add 2 more, we'll be back in real good shape. Remember, their were no good tackles on this team when coach richt took over. Ideally i'd like to see scaife at one of those guard spots to as well, but i think reed is more physical naturally. We gone be close to having a bully o-line, coach searels deserve one more year, if the guys he recruited look like they cant play in s system, than we know what needs to be done.

I dont think neal wants to come in cause he'll have a hard time beating out campbell, scaife and herbert! And than when you add if he sticks tarquin to the mix, going to Bama would actually be going the easier route for neal cause if he gets beat out by campbell, scaife or hebert, might take em 2yrs to start, where at Bama, those tackles will be juniors by the time he arrives and by tthe time he's ready to start they'll be graduating.

How do you guys feel about next year's offensive line if we get a new o line coach and roll out with this starting 5

LT- K.Herbert
LG- C. Reed
C- D. Safe
RG- N. Donaldson
RT- Z. Hillary
You want 3 first time starters and Scaife at center when he's been good at RT? This seems unrealistic

If Richt keeps the same O line coach next year, he's basically daring the university to fire him and sending a big "FU" to the fans.

I kinda hope he does this....will accelerate his departure.

Heard Herbert was the second left tackle in fall camp and Campbell was the second right tackle in camp so just bump those two up to starters next year and have Reed, Scaife, and Donaldson on the interior and with new o line and coordinator coaching you can scheme to their strengths

Neal picks Miami and he’s the starting LT for the next 3 seasons.

That man might be scared of what's in front of him here, if he comes here, i'll be impressed, that'll tell me he's not afraid of competition, cause campbell is no chop liver!

The 2 best / most consistent OL we have is a transfer (Boulware) and a freshman (Scaife). 2 guys he's worked with the least has better tendencies than the ones he's coached here for 2+ years.

In addition:
-Before coming to Miami he coached OL for literally 20 years and has about 2, maybe 3 decent OL to show for it.
-He was the OL coach for UGA/Richt in 2009/2010, which was the absolute worse 2 years of football for UGA in Richt's tenure.

His only positive is that he was the OL coach for LSU/Saban when they won the NC in 2003, so with Saban recruits pretty much.

What i know is this, ill know for sure if he stays one more year, he's had the least amount of talent to work with since he's been here. The new guys he's been coaching for 2 and 3yrs will tel us, but if we get another o-line coach in here, he'll be starting off with better talent, but on one hand, quiet as kept, we have actually been running the ball quite decent stat wise during the losing streak and yesterday, avg. Almost 200yrds rushing a game, had 300 rushing against duke, and 4 other games over 200 rushing yrds.

When you can do that with poor qb and widereceiver play, that's a good foundation to start from.

Believe it or not. Good ol boy Searle's will be in Thee Gable's next season. hUh. Oh, and one more thing. mighty Washington State starts a true frosh and RS frosh on its offensive line. Yikes.

Plenty of ability at OL next year just like this year. If Rickety’s calling plays I expect the fans to be dumping loads of ***** on the OLinemen again.

LG Boulware / Milo / Eguakun
