I’m a little confused as to why we still only have two games planned. We open the season against UF, and we play Central Michigan in late September, but that’s it so far.

Isn’t it rare to have two slots not filled at this juncture? I know these things are usually planned years in advance, which is why I’m so perplexed.

I’m praying we don’t have to scramble around and find teams like Savannah State because everybody else is booked up.

FIU has a return game. The question is if it will be played as a FIU home game at The Rock, or at FIUs stadium. Expected attendance could push the game to The Rock. Same article assumes the remaining game will be an FCS opponent.

as it should be.. and i hope it's FAMU.. i think we should play them often, its great for the community, great for local Fam alumn. and great for canes fans to enjoy that amazing band.

Chose 1 from Tier 1
Vanderbilt
UCLA
Scar
Baylor

if not then Tier 2
Louisiana Tech
Southern Miss
Tulane
Middle Tennessee State

Uf, CM, Vanderbilt, and Tulane would be my choices.

Yea that’s smart let’s do what all the other schools DONT do let’s be the only team that doesn’t schedule a FCS opponent.
Big 10 teams don't do it, you can play a FBS team and get your 40+ point win

FAMU band is the best! I always stayed in the stands at the half to watch them.

We play FIU next year as well. So only 1 OOC game is not set.

Wasn't that game supposed to be at University Park? I guess it was deemed that the stadium and surrounding area wouldn't be able to handle it. Would have been fun, but even FAU/Boca Raton couldn't handle that game a few years ago.....getting into that stadium was brutal, and FIU would be at least as bad if not worse.
