Shammond Cooper, Trinity Catholic, Outside Linebacker
6'2 190lbs (future 4-star) LB from out of St. Louis, goes to a good 3A School that went 12-1 & played in their State Championship.
This kid is an absolute tackling Machine, as a Sophomore had 98 solo tackles & 140tcks for the season, to go along with an amazing 259 total tackles, 10TFL's, 5sacks, 1INT & 1TD in just two years as a starter.
He's a phenomenal talent with great instincts, good coverage skills & is a terrific hitter.
I don't think Miami will go OOS for 2019 at LB with kids like Diamante Howard, Samuel Brooks from MNW (who will be a Cane), Anthony Solomon from STA, Dorian Jones from Oxbridge (my personal favorite Mike LB in the 19 class, he's a beast!), Mikel Jones, Tae Marriott & others.
But, if they did, this kid Cooper should be at the very top of the list... Both him & Shane Lee from DC will be two of the top LB's in the Nation for the 19 class.
