2019 Fall Camp Preview: WR

You do realize Osborn was here the entire summer and separated himself as a lock to be a starter here right?

He has been competing against the best on our roster and winning. Your argument is invalid.

Osborn had 1,000 yds & 14 TD's less than an undrafted Buffalo WR the last 2 years.

Then Osborn comes to Miami, and in 1 Spring convincingly beats out a group of 4 or 5 4 Star FL WR's to the point where saying that group of WR's even challenging him in Fall practice is ridiculous.

If you can't see how this situation might "possibly" be a problem.....then I don't see why you'd expect being anything more than 8 win team every year.

Cuz he’s a baller. Being from Buffalo has nothing to do with anything.

Ya'll are funny.

Same thing happened with Dee Delaney - hyped up a Citadel transfer as an NFL talent, then KILLED the dude all year when he wasn't.

Fanbase hypes dudes up they've never even seen play before into something they're not.

Again - I like Osborn, and think he'll be a good player for us this year.

My apologies for suggesting 4 Star South Florida should be able to compete with MAC WR's. My bad.

I expect JT to be the clear #1 with the most snaps of any of the WRs, and be put all over the field to find mismatches. Hope he's in motion a lot, or at least put in the slot so he can make multiple moves coming off the LOS. After that, I expect a committee of kids to rotate in and out.

Osborn made some defenders look silly in the Spring highlights with his exceptional route running, so I know he'll come out the #2 guy. But Pope, Hightower and Payton have too much talent to be denied. Maybe Payton takes a back seat to the other two as a true freshman. But those kids are seeing the field early and often. By the end of the year, I would be shocked if Osborn has significantly more snaps and targets than Hightower and Pope, assuming they're all healthy and locked in mentally.
