Antonio Alfano, Bergen Catholic, Defensive Tackle

6'5 270lbs DT from out of New Jersey, goes to Bergen Catholic

Had 27tcks 5.5TFL's & 2.5sacks as a Sophomore, has a lot of upside.

Holds offers from Penn St., Notre Dame & Oh St.

Am I the only one that is tired of recruiting New Jersey kids? None of them in recent years have actually worked for us. Jenkins, Olsen, Ky Hester, AQM. That and that whole state just reminds me of Golden :shivers: With the only exceptions being Njoku and possibly his little bros

Pretty decent exception I would say. Quite honestly, if Courtel stuck around, I think we may have seen more of what we saw against WVU.

Evidence will be the first NJ recruit to enroll under Richt...let's see where it goes from there. The rest is on Golden and co., including Jenkins.

2 out of those 5 will play on Sundays, possibly 3 if Courtel can make a roster..........Worth the risk.

Except Richt and Co. are light-years ahead of Golden and his band of dumbshits in every aspect, including talent evaluation.

Plus, this is a DL. Good enough for Kul, good enough for me.

We've recruited NJ for many years, going way back before Golden's tenure. And a lot of them have done very well here. Don't let Golden's incompetence warp your thinking.

IDGAF where a DL recruit is from, if Kul wants him. If Kul offers him, he's a take.... until otherwise noted.

Yeah, I think so. It's really just the bad taste left in your mouth from Jersey Al of Jersey Al's Used Car Emporium. Historically, Jersey has given us some great Canes. IMO, behind Texas, Louisiana, and Cali, NJ has probably been as good of a pipeline state for us as any...

Once again, dismissing an entire existence because Golden didn't do anything with it. This time it's the entire state of NJ. Last time it was the 3-4 because D'Onofrio sucked with it. Dismissing anything because those two sucked at it is like swearing off pu$$y because those two limpdykks said it didn't do much for them.

We will continue to recruit a state that produces a good amount of talent like we always done

Bryant McKinnie, Greg Olsen, Howard Clark, Ed Wilkins, Daniel Stubbs, James Lewis, David Njoku, Richard Newbill, Greg Mark, etc.

We've had plenty of very good players from NJ.
