2019 DE talks Canes

With signing day less then 2 days away, the Miami coaching staff hit the road recruiting last week, visiting players like Kai-Leon Herbert (Heritage) Brian Edwards (Miramar) and other, but the coaches made a quick stop at Cardinal Gibbons HS to offer 2019 DE Khristopher Bogle. He talked to CanesInSight about the offer.

"I was shocked." said Bogle "When my coaches told me that Miami was the first school to offer me --- it was the best feeling ever."

Kristopher's love for the hometown Canes is undeniable.

"I've loved Miami every since i was a kid, it runs in the family."

Bogle has offers from Miami and Clemson, but other schools are expressing interest.

"FSU, Florida, Pittsburg and Kentucky are the other schools

Bogle had 37 tackles and 9 sacks in his sophomore season, but that's just the beginning for him."

"I want to come in and work everyday, no matter who is in front of me."

It's important to target these local kids early. Just the fact that they grew up Canes fans and we were one of the first to offer them means a lot.
