2019 Canes football Schedule to be announced today

We can’t control the ACC games, so no point in listing them

So they don't count? Of course we can't control them. Still gonna get a ticket with some garbage *** team's name on it. How do you offset the non-FSU years? Schedule someone marquee at home. Not Central Michigan and Bethune. And not a home and home with FIU.

Nobody on the fence of buying season tickets is going to look at the schedule and say, "Wow, that's terrible. But Miami can't control the ACC games, so I'll buy season tickets". A consumer doesn't care. Are the games worth buying or not? This year, they're not.

My father has been a season ticket holder since 1979. He called me a few weeks ago asking if he should renew because he couldn't care less about going to see any of those games. Of course he'll cave and buy, because he's a die hard. But the fact that he even mentioned it should tell you all you need to know. The people who are on the fence are going to look at the schedule and say, "Nah".

The schedule is below average for a home schedule. That's the easiest way to put it. If you picked 9 other seasons at random and compared home games, this year would probably be the weakest (or close to it).

I already renewed and will be at the games, but the schedule is definitely weak, regardless of the reason why

I’m really looking forward to seeing this.

It’d be nice to have an early-season conference game, like, for example, Louisville.

I was reading something that with the new ACC network the commissioner really wants some early conference matchups to showcase the channel. Should be interesting to see how and when they set up some of the games.

You go to the games to see Miami, so........

When they say,"afternoon", why is it always 5:59? Why can't it be 12:01?

I can watch Miami beat Bethune Cookman by 100 on my TV and enjoy it just as much.

Beer is a lot cheaper too.
But if you want to take a little kid who's likely to get bored so you'll have to leave at halftime, there's no better game than that.

I dont see why UM can't win 10-11 games with this schedule. But I cant ever recall a 5 game homestand. Also, 9 or so games in the state of Florida.
