So they’re gonna play 2 FCS teams??

And they hope to sell tickets??

What an epic fail by Flake James.
LOL I am not a fan of James but this ain't on him. By the time we knew we needed to find another team only FCS teams for the most part we willing and more important available .Selling tickets under Diaz ain't going to be a problem.

By the time we knew we needed to find another team? We’re scheduling games in 2024. He didn’t know who the OOC scheudle was in 2019 till now?

The schedule is fine. Not great. Fine. Everyone plays an FCS team. We got Florida, so stop complaining. Nothing wrong with CMU or Toledo or whatever. I’d rather have a better G5 or bad P5 team as the 4th OOC game, not FIU. A Houston or Vanderbilt type, but in reality this schedule is similar to what all schools are doing.

The home schedule is absolutely horrifying, and there's no denying it. Playing UF is great. 1 FCS team is fine. The other 2 OOS games are awful. But specifically, who is excited to spend thousands of dollars on season tickets to see:

Bethune-Cookman
Central Michigan
Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech
Louisville
Virginia

That is AWFUL, no matter how you slice it.

We can’t control the ACC games, so no point in listing them

UF and FSU on the schedule. Make hay by starting to blow teams out at home instead of losing to them and we're good for this year.

The only excitement BCC will provide is to see some of the freshman play in the second half, but regardless, there's always an FCS school slated early in the schedule (and most P5 schools do this). CMU is not exciting anyone in the slightest, I'll give you that, but again, most of the solid P5 schools schedule someone like this at home early in the season.

GT and UVA should garner some excitement as intra-division, "revenge" games. Similar situation with Louisville, who has destroyed us the last few times we have played them. And notwithstanding their recent skid, VT is still a rivalry game (albeit, not on the level of f$u, uif, or Nlame).

Like @Notsince1985 said, the home schedule isn't great on paper from an excitement perspective, but it's not awful. It's fine.
