Pete I have like him for some time since he appeared about 10 months ago at the Nike Combine and was a legit 6-3 in height. He is also a rising track guy and with his length and now bulk a good prospect.

(2018)... Isaac Lipscomb....WR...6-3/177( Nike height and weight)...Homestead...as a 10th grader in track...44.66--300mH, high jump 5-10, triple jump 40'...may approach national elite in 300mH--39.50…now at Keys Gate Charter and 6-3/190
____________________________________________________________________

Here is another one I like due to his athletic ability and length. At Boyd Anderson they use him as a QB/WR/DB as he is very versatile but I personally like him best at WR. His is explosive with excellent speed.

(2018)...WR/QB/DB....Avery Thornton...6-1/175....This past track season as a sophomore --long jump 22-11.5 -FHSAA 3A Region 4-(national elite 22-00), also high jumped 6-4 (national elite 6-5).[

His Ath # 12 video shows his diversity--probably will come out fo HS labeled as "Athlete"

Had a coach down south tell me that he thinks Lipscomb is better than 2018 commit Dee Wiggins, but that both are Miami caliber easily.

Wiggins is the real deal too just doesn't get used at southridge very much

Pete. I have asked about this OT at Killian before on the board but could get no answer about him. Brian Baker listed at 6-7/300. I could find no previous game film or school for him. He has the size and arm length and appears raw in areas but moves well for a guy that size and plays with some meanness. Delone Scaife a U com. plays the LT spot.

Lipscomb has come to a couple games this year. Used to be at Homestead before KGC.

I was at Killian before the season and Baker didn't seem like a kid with aspirations of playing past the HS level

This kid is why I think Pete doesn't know a good prospect.

This kid is slow he's not a kid who'll get separation easily. He more of the same SLOW kids who shouldn't be at Miami. Wr should run 4.50 40s or faster no more big slow kids ideal Miami wr is 4.3(which is crazy fast) to 4.45 with one or two big slow guys mixed in. This kid sucks and so does your analysis of talent Peter.

• Many of those 40 times as put out for public consumption are done by unofficial timing such a coaches, other players, friends, etc.

• In these elite combines 250-400 kinds are invited and they are the best.

• Often as much as 35% of the players will not run the 40 due to the fear a bad time will hurt them.

• The 40 practiced and performed at the Pro Indy Combine is done by players who undergo many weeks of specialized training at various pro camps to get the start down and when to move at the start so as to get the best time.

• I can list hosts of high school players who have run national elite or near national elite high school standard times in the 50m and 100m and performed "relatively slow" Nike 40 times due to the aforementioned mentioned factors.

• True sub 4.50 HS 40s under measurable standards are not that common and are not done by one position, etc.

a couple of examples--

Miami Nike Football Training Camp held Sunday, Mar. 16, 2014 at American Heritage School in Plantation, Fla
Calvin Ridley WR 2015 Apocalypse 6-0.0 169 4.54 4.15 32.0 32.0 92.70
but in track that same spring ran a 10.67 100m (national elite 10.80)

Thank you 1953, I hate it when people say they need 4.4 speed for high school kids...that's extremely rare.

Who is DeMarcus Townsend? Kid ran a 4.4 at 190? Dang Thats a kid you should want. Unless he is just not really a football player. But those are some measurables worth taking a look at.

****. Just got word that Lipscomb was in a bad car accident today and is in critical condition. Prayers up

Darn shame--terrible .....hope for a speedy and full recovery. Guy was really coming into his own a legit 6-3 and 190 and his track speed was falling quickly.

I won't rip on Pete, but I agree with your analysis of the kid. We need speed and need to get off this big wr BS! There are enough 6'1"+ kids that run 4.5 and under in SoFl and Fl in general. Speed should be the determining factor not so much size.

That's devastating news. All the best to the kid and his family during these tough times. You can make it kid.
