Dolphins need to draft Josh Allen.
Absolutely and undoubtedly no. He's a strong arm with terrible mechanics and footwork. Competition was dogsh!t at best and stats were poor in the MWC. Reminds me of Ryan Leaf except without the stats to back it up. Do not confuse him with Carson Wentz or someone going to small school. There was a reason he had to beg teams to give him a D1 ride.
Arm strength, you can't correct, everything else yes. And it's easier than trying to convert a wide receiver to a quarterback. I'm sure back in the day you were one of those Marino detractors.

The upside on this kid is ridiculous...and has beautiful mechanics from what I can see...footwork all qbs can be better...wasn’t that the knock on Derek Carr. Dude is a late bloomer on a crap team...highest ceiling in entire draft. Can the dolphins take that chance...I wish kid going top3
I guess no interest in Bridgewater? Not sure why

I mean, I guess he has upside but so do most QBs slotted to go in the 1st round. That's what the draft is, upside. I'm going by the eye test and watching him play a decent amount this year because of my gambling habits. Not listening to Kiper and McShay. I am not sold on the kid and it would take the Dolphins trading up to take a guy that has questions marks about the competition and performances in the games he actually played competition.
There are way bigger needs than trading up to draft a QB this year. Also, I can point to championship weekend where 3 of the 4 teams were built on defense. Miami needs LBs, DBs, and OL before taking a QB.

The Dolphins have been doing the same crap for twenty years. The same stupid draft philosophy. The need to do something different. Either try to move up in the draft or roll the dice on Allen. Get a franchise qb and everything else will fall into place.
He's terrible, so they probably will.roll the dice on Allen
