2018 schedule is looking VERY favorable

I ****ing hate playing them but we will probably have a bye before them so... we roll

@BC:
Nothing to say here they suck... we roll

@VT:
They lose a couple good players. I think this is the one game we keep close cuz its @blacksbugh probably at night. I actually think we will **** up everyone else. We win a close one.

Clemson:
They will be better than last year. So will we. If perry is the truth we win if not we lose. I think hes the truth so we win


My playoff prediction will be as follows:

Orange Bowl #1 Miami vs. #4 Washington
Cotton Bowl #2 Alabama vs. #3 Ohio State

Miami vs Bama Natty

Bama wins

2019 we win the natty

Only two things scare me on that slate: VT late in the season in Blacksburg and of course Clemson.

LSU is tough because they are LSU, but Ed O does not scare me at all. That game will be decided by our O Line.

We only lose to the other teams on that schedule if we beat ourselves a la the Pitt game this year.

Dethroning Clemson next year in the ACCCG should be our target. Hope we can close the gap next year.

I don't think this is worthy of another thread but looking way way ahead with jimbo at texas a&m now our home and home with them in 2022 and 2023 should be really exciting with both programs probably contending for the playoffs
 
All games are a cakewalk when you carry a big stick. The U just want to show how the CMR effect in yr 3.

Great article.....but you talk too much about **** for my liking. That’s your thing
 
Too early. Once the final schedule is released and we k ow when we play who it’ll be easier. Also depends on the QBZ you can’t say we will roll teams when we didn’t roll anybody this year. Toledo, BC, UNC, UVA, Duke, FIU and the FCS team are guaranteed wins. There’s 7 wins. The you have Pitt, GT , VT, FSU, and LSU. I think we beat Pitt, GT, and FSU. so there’s 10. LSau and Vat will be coin flip games. If Rosier starts the LSU game it’s a loss.
 
There are no guaranteed wins. Our team is streaky as ****. Pitt sucked this year, had a freshman starting his first game, and they owned us. Let it play out. Also, BC on the road is not a place we play well at, and their freshman running back is one of the best in the nation.

No I just think that FSU and UVA are very homosexual schools
 
Don’t forget, we’re bringing Game Day to Blacksburg at night next year. Unless those guys already have 2+ losses, that is going to be one **** of a tough out. I wouldn’t even be at all surprised if the ACC isn’t stupid/envious enough to make that a Thursday nighter.

Seriously, the next time the ACC hands us a schedule with a Thursday night game on it and we didn’t finish unranked the previous season, we should tell them flatly “No”. Let BC, Wake, Duke, etc have that “national stage”. We make our own national stage now, no matter who else is playing that day.

Strange distribution of home and away games. Also we have no business playing Savannah state. Aren't they like the worst FCS team?
 
DT play has always been and still is, essential to Miami defense. Next is the QB. Those two positions have always determined our fate. If DTs play great next year, we are in good shape. Add improved QB play and we contend for it all. This class and the fact that our young players got lots of pt this year helps our depth. That will be important end of year. Also, we need to blow out more teams early so starters do not have to burn so hard and long. We have expierience senior qb who almost got us there this year with hot red shirt freshman and true freshman to push him hard and maybe replace him. I like our chances to run table in 2018, but in the end we need menfolk to beat Clemson.
 
Man, if I can't make it to the Miami vs fsu game because of another hurricane... part two of my killing spree is gonna begin up in here.

It’s almost better to have a regular season loss if you’re shooting for the playoffs because going 15-0 is hardly ever going to happen.

At VT is the toughest game on our schedule . LSU 2nd toughest . Not going to say we play Clemson but we probably will end up with them in the ACCTG . I think 1 loss is the max going into the playoffs which I think we will make . Rosier isn't going to be the QB next season so that doesn't need to be discussed. I think the QB will be Williams not Perry but either good win the job .
 
THIS IS NOT THE ORDER OF GAMES!!! I just found the teams we are playing and listed them in the order it says so this is not our actual schedule
 
I do not believe Rosier will be our starter on day 1, surely MR can come up with a better option, he is supposed to be a QB guru

Watch BCs bowl game vs Iowa. Not sure what they did mid season but they started to roll people.
