I mean it's true so far we have pushed away Campbell . Missed out on Peters Cogburn goss and Samuels. The only thing we have been able to do is get bethel who was our fall back option.

The rest of the guys you just mentioned were either late targets or never really considering us

What are you talking about? Yes it has been an awful two weeks with Pete retiring and who knows with the heritage kids
 
we never really targeted Peters. Neither did FSU, but LB isn't really our problem right now. losing Briggs would be a major blow, and unfortunately it looks like that might happen.

Anyone with common sense knew Briggs wasn't coming here, especially with his remarks about FSU after Jimbo left. The only chance we had with Briggs was if Taggart didn't want him. Well, he wants him and he's a layup for FSU.
 
Anybody who didnt see through Briggs BS deserves what they get. He was all FSU the entire year save for maybe a month. And he gave them the last visit to see if they could sway him... (Kinda like TC and PS2 are giving us the last crack at swaying them. Good sign for us.) Edwards and CJ did the same to us last year. But their hearts were with UF so they gave them the last visit and UF closed them both.

I never really thought we wanted Peters that much. So hes not a big loss. If he visits, great. If he doesnt, oh well. Pete has said all recruiting season that PJoyner was the one we really wanted and we got him. Ask FSU if they would like to swap Peters for Joyner and see how fast they take that deal.

At this point, give me Chatman and Miller to go with Nesta and lets roll.
 
I don't believe any of this committing to FSU until the kid themselves say it publicly. They are starved for good news, will blow up rumors just to satisfy that itch. Don't fall for any of it.
