Just watch. I can confidently say he's going to be one of the top CB if not the top in 2018

Miami is the heavy favorite right now. Word is Asante Sr. wants his son at Miami.

Obviously things could change but this is a kid to keep an eye on. He's drawing in offers around the whole country from top programs and hasn't even laced up for his sophomore year of highschool yet.

Also another 2018 CB from the same school who's drawing in offers just as much as Samuel Jr. is Benny Sapp Jr.

It's a long time till then but these two will be some of the top DB's in their class.

Both of their fathers played in the NFL and both originally from the south florida area. Samuels was a multi pro bowler and Sapp played in the nfl for 7 years. So obviously these kids come from a heavy football background.

Seem like its a lot of db talent coming up in 17 and 18

Off the top of my head in 2018

Al Blades Jr - USchool
Miguel Edwards - Coconut Creek
Jalen Patterson - North Marion
Asante Samuel - STA
Benny Sapp - STA
Patrick Surtain - American Heritage

And some who will continue to blow up who have already received some big D1 offers

Thomas Burns - Northwestern
Joshua Jobe - Columbus
Jalen Norwood - N. Florida Christian
Randy Russell - Carol City
Trenel Troutman - Northwestern
Dominick Wyatt - McArthur

2018 a very good year for DB's, and I'm sure more will pop up over time.

Both played hs at Boyd Anderson. Same team as Abdul Hodge (Packers) and Jakari Wallace (Patriots until a bad medical report), as well as a bunch of other players. I'm friends with a few players from that BA team. Most of those guys are class of 1999-2001. Makes me feel old to see their kids already being mentioned in recruiting circles.

Asante Samuel was my guide on my official visit to UCF as a hs junior. Good dude from Lauderhill....

Benny Sapp is from their too...

Boyd Anderson use to have a ton of prospects not sure whats going on with th eprogram..but they use to be one of the best in broward....always recruiting their *** off but enever could win sh*t.

i seen Samuel Jr talking too John Ford was he going to commit after his offer. and he said for both of them to do together. could be just talk but idk.

Met him a few a times. We went to do 1v1s, DB and footwork drills with Asante during his last summer at UCF. I think he owned one of the clubs on the beach (Play?). I used to swear that nobody could out run their defense back in the day, then I saw termaine hall (Deerfield Beach, NC State) turn on the jets lol. Their program is always full of athletes, just WOAT coaches. Not that long ago that you could say the same thing about plantation. BA, Dillard (they were actually good), Plantation all used to have prospects...now American Heritage is a power house. Can't be too mad, though. They're just doing what Chaminade once did, only better.

Miami is the favorite for a lot of the 2018 prospects. Miami's db class for 2018 will be absolutely nasty with Samuel, blades, burns and Patterson not to mention the others who like Miami a lot right now

They love Miami

For all the years I've followed Florida football, I'm still amazed at the amount of talent in the state - year after year. Incredible.

For real! It never ceases to amaze me. Then when you factor in the modern athlete and the development of humans, you lose your mind because they are literally bigger and faster every year!
