From Matthew "whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council". Calling someone vile is an insult. I can pull up numerous other points in the bible that would state that calling someone a name is a sin. If you aren't going to turn the other cheek you have no business in calling other posters out for "making posts that will be used against them in judgement day" .

You make a good point, no one is without sin including me.

I didn’t consider that pointing out the obvious vile nature of a post directed at me could be insulting to the person that wrote it. If someone steals something he is called a thief, if you lie you are called a liar, not an insult just a fact. If you write something vile about someone then you are vile. We are all guilty including me which is why Jesus had to give his life for all of us.

Yes, everything we say and do will be accounted for on the day of judgment, including the words you and I type on these boards.
