Of our 2018 opponents, who do you think lost the most talent to graduation and the draft?

For me, it's gotta be FSU:

S Derwin James
CB Tavarus McFadden
DE Josh Sweat
WR Auden Tate
DE Jalen Wilkerson
OLB Matt Thomas
SS Trey Marshall
DE Jacob Pugh
DT Derrick Nnadi
TE Ryan Izzo
OT Brock Ruble

Virginia Tech also lost quite a bit of talent, particularly on defense. Thoughts?

Well it sure as **** isn't Clemson considering they ******* return every god **** player

I'm just hoping we woop LSU, cruise through the Coastal, and prove that last year's ACCCG vs Clemson was a fluke due to us not having the 3 best players on our offense in the game and an atrocious QB.

Even with all that attrition, FSU only lost 10 players who were 4/5 stars.... but they added 13.

That means they improved their blue chip ratio to 51/85... or 60%.

Miami improved its blue chip ratio from 25/85 (30%) last year to 34/85 (40%)..... a significant improvement, but FSU is still leaps and bounds ahead of us as far as talent on the roster goes.

Hate to say it, but Taggart is taking over a stacked team. Everybody is writing FSU off, but that's a mistake IMO.

FSU is always going to have talent but they lost almost every impact player they had from last season outside of Akers. They vastly underachieved under Jimbob. They're going to need a lot of guys who haven't done anything yet in college to step up or it's going to look a lot like it did last year.

They actually lost 3 starters on the interior of the oline, Ray Ray McClain and deon Cain, Dorian o Daniel. They just brought back that talented dline

Well....if Taggart fails, he certainly won't be able to use the talent excuse. He can't really say he needs 3 years to get his own guys in, when they're so stacked with 4/5 star players.

If Taggart doesn't get FSU in to the playoffs THIS YEAR, he's pretty much a bust.

And my money is on Taggart being a bust.

Va Tech lost the Edmunds brothers who were their biggest playmakers at LB and CB, as well as their big 1-tech DT Tim Settle as early entries to the draft. Also lost two more corners, MLB, three starting OL, best WR, a RB, and big-leg Kicker.

Good year to play them in Blacksburg if you ask me.

We beat them in last second of game in Tally. That turns our competition with them back to our favor. The cycle has flipped

FSU talent level is " leaps and bounds" ahead of Miami? Really? I seem to recall us winning in Tally last year. Also, in the previous 3 seasons prior to last year, it took 4th quarter heroics by Dalvin Cook (one player) to beat us, a team that according to you, is/was "leaps and bounds" behind F$U, as it relates to talent.

Just a gut feeling here, nothing more. We’re going to play them in a night game and we’re going to boat race them Notre Dame style.

So meat thinks FSU is a playoff caliber team. Do you hear yourself talk? They aren’t a playoff caliber team with jimbo. You’re ovresrimating all this 4-5 star talent they have.

And what original said. Going to be ugly at hrs this year.

They just need to play hard. They quit on Jimbo but Willie might be able to get em excited.
