2017 schedule opening

Does anyone have any insight on what the plans are to filing this 12th slot? Is another ACC crossover possible and what other P5 schools still have openings?

Most of the D1 schools we might want to play are already scheduled for that week, so that pretty much means we'll end up having to play Bethune or FAMU again.

That was a home and home series. stAte at Miami in 2014 and Miami at stAte next year.

OK so that gives us @ Arkansas state, toledo and notre Dame. Is there not another P5 schools with an open date? Hopefully it's on the road because that'll make our OOC schedule weak AF

Expect the other OOC game to be FCS (FAMU, BCU, Savannah St, etc). That's just the way it works. Since the division split in 1979, there's only been a handful of times we didn't play a 1-AA (FCS) team.
