Me and some other posters have mentioned this kid a lot on here. Main thing I like about him...... SPEED.
He's versatile, quick, fast and has wiggle, just want see him get into the weight room a little more.
Pete mentioned before that Smith used to play some safety.
He was a huge piece to Columbus's run this season into the playoffs. Ivan Smith is capable of playing multiple positions at the next level from RB to WR to DB and Special Teams.
Smith is very close to the Mullins family and has been a long time Canes fan.
I'll mention again. Kids from South Florida like Keyshawn "Pie" Young, Deon McIntosh and Ivan Smith are the versatile athletes we have to add to the roster. Where you just plug and play them and find their best fit when they get here.
