For some reason there is a lot of stuff happening for the 2015 class right now. I guess it's because a majority of the 2014 kids are committed and it's time to look ahead? Whatever. Here's what has happened around the interwebz over the last few days to keep you on track. It's not pretty for UM, but hey...it's January '14. This is compilation of Twitter crap and pay site crap...all crap. None of this is my own information.
QB
-2015 QB Brandon Wimbush out of NJ has a top 5 of Boston College, Miami (Fla.), Penn State, Ohio State, and Vanderbilt. I guess he was going to announce soon but has pushed his decision back some. Ohio State is assumed to be ahead, but with Penn State hiring James Franklin that could change. He's 1B on our QB list w/ Gibson (or so they tell us). Wimbush is close with 5* safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and both have OSU high on their list.

-2015 QB Torrence Gibson is focusing on UM and Ohio State per the Twittersphere. The common thought is that whoever gets Gibson, the other will get Wimbush. Who knows this early. We probably won't get either.

-Jacques Patrick named us as one of his top 10...the joy is overwhelming. Most likely a UF/FSU battle with us on the outside but he has been consistent in naming us.
-Alex Anderson (3* out of Miramar) is expected to announce today at 2:30. Probably following his HC to WVU with all the rest of 'em. This is from his Twitter.

-Calvin Ridley is a super freak, arguably the best WR in South Florida and recently named us his leader. So of course there are already rumors of grade issues. We'll see what happens. He and SBB are very close. Maybe even a package deal? Stay tuned....
-Da'Vante Phillips will more than likely follow his butt budd....boys up to FSU. There really isn't a source to this other than everyone has been saying it. Recently decommitted from UF. Instagram pictures of him with FSU gear. You get it.
-Kahlil Lewis from Miramar (ESPN 4*/Rivals 3*) committed to WVU after his coach took a job there yesterday. Not sure if we were on him, but he gone for now.
-George Campbell decided his short lived commitment to Michigan was over and is back open. People tend to think he will go to UF or FSU but he will be a national recruit so wait and see.

-Haven't seen much action on this front. Probably more news once evals start. For those wondering, we have not been mentioned by CeCe Jefferson, Russel Ude or Byron Cowart at all (top DL prospects in the state).

-4* Jeffrey Holland did not name us among his top 6. He had a UM offer. Auburn leads

-Tyrek Cole from Miramar will be choosing tonight at 8:00. Many expect him to follow Cogdell to WVU. He has offers from 'erbody. Love his film. Too bad.
-Rashard Causey said on Twitter he is going to commit soon, too. Not sure if this is good or bad for us since we have been in the lead but do not have any momentum at the moment.
-Kendrell McFadden is announcing on Friday. Many believe it's still a UM/FSU/Bama battle but he just recently transferred to Miramar where...you guessed it...the coach just left for WVU. -Central Safety Calvin Brewton committed to FSU today. He wants to take Cole with him. We never offered but apparently our staff thinks they know DBs better than some other staffs..
Also for 2016...RB Jalen Buie from Trinity Christian committed to Auburn today. So there is that.
