2015 Class: 22 commits so far...

This is lining up to be an epically bad class. Canes are going to be bad 3 years minimum. Even if a great coach comes in he's going to have nothing to work with

Keeping Golden absolutely destroys the '15 class (which we're seeing now) and will make the '16 class even worse. Firing him now and replacing him with anyone even remotely competent could salvage the current class to some extent and set us up for a monster haul in 2016.

And the administration sits on its hands hoping Golden scapegoats a couple position coaches so they can try to PR spin themselves to death trying to sell tickets and restore optimism. Just fold the f***ing program and put us out of our misery already.

Yep, by saving a few zeroes on that buyout check, the 2016 class will be destroyed because we're kicking the coaching change down the road.

Are there even enough targets left to sign the 25-28 we have room for after taking a hit this past season with 8 of our 9 ships lost due to sanctions.

1. How many players do you think are miami caliber and which ones?
12: Scarlett, Williams, Walton, Jaquan, Milo, St. Louis, Perry, Chatman, Patchan, McIntosh, Washington, Jones

2. What player will the next staff develop into a NFL draft pick?
A new staff could work wonders with a bunch of these guys, but most probably won't stick. I'll go with Perry.

3. Most underrated recruit?
Chatman.

4. The three prospects you wished we would've offered this class:
Jalen Julius (in part to lock up Williams), Adrienne Talan, and Ronnie Hoggins. I'd add Tarvarus McFadden as someone who should've been recruited much harder, even though he was technically offered. Especially since Jaquan is likely the only South Florida DB we're going to land.

5. Who stays and who goes in your opinion?
I assume Scarlett, Williams, St. Louis, and Chatman will end up elsewhere and this class will be a dumpster fire. Jaquan (wants to stay home), Milo (friendship with Kaaya), Walton (Ice), and Perry (can play immediately due to atrocious LB depth) seem to have the best chance of sticking.

For 2. I am going to go out on a limb and say Therrell Gosier if we make him a TE. As a wr he is useless at the next level. Larry Scott could turn him into an animal. He probably shouldn't have been a take with all the talent we should've secured but if he can actually get coached up he could turn into a player. Very raw right now.

3. Mcintosh

4. Talan, Deandre Baker, and Julius.

I know I'm being a captain obvious here but it's insane the local talent at RB, WR, and DB the last 3 classes South Florida has put out vs who actually signs with Miami. These kids aren't stupid.

This staff has been hemorrhaging so much local talent even before 6-7. Truly is a disgrace to the program what's going on.

We are gonna go after a different kind of kid, so says Blake James, maybe all this south fla talent isn't "miamis style" anymore..... Got to go after the kids from jersey shore or some chit, look at temple if you want to see the kids Al and Blake deem " Miami style"

Shouldn't it be a no-brainer to drop Gosier for Richie Cooper?

Depends if Gosier is a receiver or not. If yes, Cager seemingly makes him redundant.

I'd personally like to see Gosier tried as an edge rusher if he gets good weight on. And if they have plans to move him over, like they experimented with with Njoku, Id take Cooper in addition.

I guess the sum total of my point is that Id like to see a guy like Cooper in this class because we are building a basketball roster instead of a sprint relay team with our receiving corps and I don't see where the playmaking is going to come from to help out Brad.

Need a burner or two in every class.

Yep - what I'm not seeing is the classic burners. You can always use burners - returns, short passing game, slot DBs, special teams, etc. Javarius Davis, cooper, ET al and they're barely getting a sniff from us

That has bothered me a lot for a while. Per the thread earlier this week (LuCanes, I believe) about how TCU has speed all over the field. We have a few guys, like Grace, who are exceptionally fast for their positions but we don't have the team speed we used to. The silver lining is that is the easiest thing for us to get back with a new coach. S. Florida will always have an abundance of speed.

Davis is a great ATH. Can't believe we didn't get him a committable
