Staff cooled on them
Bad grades
Genron
Not true Canes
Some kids just want out of Florida...errrr South Florida

Florida is LOADED with CB's, now they need safeties. Imagine Vernon Hargreaves JC Jackson, Jalen Tabor, with Tim Irvin and jaquan Johnson at safety 🙊OMG
NoFlyZone in Gainsville🚨✈️🚨

Fire D'Onfrio and hire T-Rob as DC please 🙏

Pretty sure TRob pops in tapes of our defense, let's recruits watch thwm, leaves, comes back an hour later and recruit is sold on UF.

You wanna know what's a bigger cloud than the NCAA mess, Al Goldens defense and his insistence on keeping Dorito

all this talk about ace recruiters lol. while i believe some recruiters may be better than others, i think it comes down to what resources major programs have to use for recruiting and which do not. think all this ace recruiter talk is overblown. it's more about the highest bidder

I agree good resources don't hurt anything but there are coaches that are good recruiters regardless to where they are coaching

Florida leads for JJ so the Irvin news seems legit. Hopefully UF doesn't get both.

Jaquan Johnson. The Franchise. The Duke Johnson of the 2015 class. Cane lock.

UF leads.

You think Golden's refusal to hire his buddy, the man charge of the worst defense seen at Miami in over 30 years, has anything to do with it?

Nick Marshall was stealing at Georgia, Cam was stealing at Florida, and Jameis is stealing at FSU. That paying **** is bull****, kids are trying to go pro, and they are going to schools that put players into the pros. Schools that are able to say the last 4 5 star defensive tackles from our school have all went in the 3rd round or better win.

Hard to argue with this.

Our scheme/philosophy does not help our recruiting at all. Kids want to play in an in your face, attacking style defense. Its what they grew up on down here.

wrong, recruiting is mostly about relationships

So despite the issues that Miami has faced over the years, this staff has still managed to pull in more top South Florida than Florida, FSU, Alabama, LSU, and Louisville combined. Yes this staff has missed on some very important kids, but of all these kids only one was just a clear ***** up by this staff (Travis Rudolph). Miami was in the top 2 until the very end for at least 75% of all of these kids, I really don't know what more you expected.

Issues this staff has faced
  1. 3 years of NCAA investigation
  2. Negative recruiting from every school in the country
  3. Limited scholarships (This staff stated multiple times, that they were self imposing scholarships)
  4. Admissions (several studs were not offered simply because this staff knew they would not make it in)
  5. Lack of fan support (Kids don't want to play in a empty stadium)
  6. Broken relationships by previous staff (We all know this staff had to spend the first two years repairing relationships because the previous staff simply neglected them)
  7. Lack of competitive facilities (Miami was miles behind every major program in terms of facilities when this staff arrived)

Golden can't and shouldn't survive here losing all that local talent.2013 was a joke and this year could be even worse.

u are talking total numbers, we are talking the elite talent. Out of the top 15 kids of the last 3 years (top 5 of 2012, 2013, and 2014) we have 2/15. FSU has 5 over that same time period. if u look at the top 30 ( top 10 of each year) we have 10/30. batting 13% and 33% isn't going to cut it both of those numbers need to be closer to 50%

yes, building relationships with Benjamin, Grant, and Jackson. no checks please. let me give you a recent example of a team that has been so ridiculous at recruiting the past two seasons like i've never seen. Bama!!! and do you have any clue the lengths they go to to "build relationships"? unlike a lot of these ignorant posters i actually frequent tuscaloosa a few times a year and they don't even hide the recruiting infractions. we're talking apartments no student athlete can afford and cars that middle age men going to midlife crises have wet dreams about. while i respect your opinion, i strongly disagree based on what i've actually seen first hand.
