2014 team will be the best team we have had in 10 years.

In really good shape for next year. What you have on your offensive line is always a bellweather. You have Feliciano, McDermott, Bunche and Flowers returning with a minimum of 84 combined starts. Need to get Isadora reps as quickly as possible. The kid that is going play immediately is K.C. McDermott. He's the best lineman in the state and he's college-ready and I don't say that cavalierly. You get one or two of these type of kids in the state and Miami got the kid this year. Loaded at wide receiver and tight end and Miami is set at running back next year. Staff just loves Tucker. Williams is more than serviceable at quarterback and is good enough to be a game manager.

On defensive Miami is loaded at cornerback and you get a healthy Bush and a veteran Jenkins at safeties. Expect Carter to step it up in the spring. I expect AQM to be in the 255 pound range. I'd like to see McCord get to 250 pounds. You have Pierre. To push Chick to the inside you're looking at him putting on another 15 pounds. He probably stays at defensive end. Pierre should be the guy next fall. The question is whether or not they push Hamilton or Kamalu on the inside. Miami is more than fine at linebacker and will be incredibly athletic and big at the position with Armbrister and Figueroa set with a mature Kirby ready to run the middle. Grace needs to put on 20 pounds and if he does than watch out.

This board will be contaminated with Stephen Morris threads next year. Same ****bags trashing him will be praising him when our QBs can't make the impossible throw like Morris can.

Yep. Same guys who wanted Berlin over Dorsey.

Perryman has a kid on the way. He is gone.

Berlin came in with the 01 or 02 class if I recall. Either way I doubt we had fans calling for a gator transfer to play over a heisman finalist & national champion.

Plenty of people were saying that they thought the offense would be better with Berlin than Dorsey because his arm was stronger.

I don't think you guys realize that the players with the most NFL potential on this roster are all 1st and 2nd year players. When those guys become grown men this team is going to be very dangerous.

Pretty much this.

We have a lot of seniors/juniors contributing right now, which is fantastic, but the potential superstars (i.e. high NFL draft picks) are all Freshmen and Sophmores.

I do agree that we might see a drop off in DL play, but other than that I think we're golden.

It's not just the dline, the entire front 7 is a worry for next year. We lose 5 of our 8 from the 2 deep on the dline (renfrow, porter, robinson, green, gilbert). Then we lose 2 of 3 starting lbs (gaines and perryman assuming he goes pro). Plus we lose our best coverage lb in Cornelius and a second string guy that has been contributing this year in Cain. That's a lot.

It would really help a lot of Perryman stays, but I doubt he will. As for the dl, what Golden did this past offseason was nothing short of miraculous. He needs to do it again and based on his comments, he knows it. Before this season, a lot of us were saying that the season was going to hinge on how impactful these new dlinemen were. I suspect we'll be saying the same next year.

The guys who will replace some of these guys are already on the team and have a lot more natural ability.

Porter will be replaced by Moore
Renfrow will be replaced by Stuckey
Robinson will be replaced by Hamilton (Hamilton is naturally more talented and has more upside than Robinson)
Green will be replaced by McCord (McCord at 250 will be a huge upgrade, he could easily be the best player on the team next season)
Gilbert will be replaced by AQM (again at 250 another huge upgrade in terms of natural ability)
Gaines will be replaced by Kirby (Kirby will be a upgrade in terms of athletic ability)
Cornelius will be replaced by Grace (Grace is worlds better than Cornelius in terms of natural ability)

Can't wait for Morris to leave honestly. Bash away

Pecos - Morris certainly has some flaws, particularly accuracy at times, but I think he'll be tough to replace.

accuracy is definitely not a flaw of Stephen Morris.... injury issues is his biggest flaw.

http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/individual/8

He has a pass efficiency rank of 12th in the nation.... Jameis Winston is 2nd and Tahj Boyd is 6th.

But he is 12th even though he hasnt played late in games early in the season and he has had an ankle injury.

Winston and Boyd stay on the field and pat stats against inferior teams, until the last minute, while Al has benched Morris when they've gotten a sizeable lead early.

Pecos is coming off like a clown b/c his expectations of Morris is to be Tom Brady even though he is better then 98% of the QBs in CFB

Hey Zone3, care to defend Morris' accuracy tonight?:D

I think we're gonna know that we're headed in a positive direction, the day we stop projecting needs being filled by kids that have never played a down/stepped foot on campus, I've fallen victim to this as well, football doesnt work like that

H STOKES told the truth this is the most talented team in 10 years.... too bad we don't have any coaches on the side line to make the talent produce. .... we should be 6-0 easily without a doubt in my mind
