and lost their 2 starting QB and won the national championship with their 3rd string.

This game wasn't anywhere near what this team can do. We weren't whooped. Way too many mistakes all across the board.

This is a long season and this team will get it together I'm confident.

It's happened plenty of times.
We also have the added narrative (which i posted before) of...
"With their new QB, Miami, at this time, is playing the best football in the country"
 
Could have gone with the 83 NC Canes. Better comparison. Malik and Bernie have similar hair I guess.
 
Why do this to yourself, OP? This team is the same exact team that lost to Pitt, got drilled by Clemson, and quit after Wisconsin scored one touchdown. Don't do it to yourself. It's the same team, minus the lucky breaks (turnovers). Therefore, you're looking at an 8, maybe 9 win team. Accept that and move on.

OSU had a two time head coach without a soul. We have a missionary who never won crap. I would not even eat lunch with urban but but he can win, in fact I am certain he could win acc and play for the title this year with this team. Likewise Mark would lose with Bama’s team.
 
Are you saying that since 2014 OSU lost to VT, we're going to have the same result (outcome of the season) in 2018?

Season isn’t over for sure but we made too many mistakes and obviously the qb play needs to get better, backups don’t need to play as much on defense and dean needs to not play either

lets not. Meyer had two national titles at that point. guy for all his character faults is in a different league as far as coaching.

Other than blind homerism, what factual evidence do you have to warrant being confident? After 4 awful games now, maybe this is what this team can do.
 
We were whooped. After one touchdown the team gave up and didnt want to fight back. They are soft. You cant be that mentally soft and achieve anything. To have all offseason and then com out like that, against a team many consider not a complete team. We got smoked!
