Curious if you folks are noticing similar things impacting games, or same shlt-different year?

Things that have caught my attention.

:Ref standing over the ball, preventing the snap, deep into single digits of the play clock. (prolonged D substitution time to counter O changes)
:Changing PI calls to defensive holding when it suits them. (Tipped ball, un-catchable)
:Road teams having the play clock immediately start, as the home team gets far more time post play/kickoffs (Nebraska/Ville, and random other games/teams)
:Little more leniency on defenseless player PF ejection calls (offensive players are defenceless by default)
:selective OL holding calls. (most egregious and impacting)

Only watch our games close enough to notice, but these two have definitely caused us problems this year. Especially the play clock shenanigans when when our O is on the road.

Chances are high that the next game is going to be a flag-fest. As UNC ranks #107 in penalty yrds per game and #108 in pens per game.
Averaging 9 for 89 on the road.

Miami currently ranks #120 in penalty yardage and #111 in penalties per game.

6 penalties for 113 yards per game @ home. 11 penalties for 49 yards per game away.

Last year, #45 in yardage and #42 for penalties per game.

6 penalties for 50 yards per game @ home. 4 penalties for 33 yards per game away.
