-6-foot-1, 220-pounds, plays middle linebacker and running back for South Fort Myers High School.
-He’s having a terrific senior campaign, leading his team to the playoffs.
-“He is our star,” said Grant Readhead, South Fort Myers coach. “D’Ronzjiah is definitely a big time linebacker. He’s bigger this year. He’s faster this year. And he’s having an even better season than last year.”
-Last season as a junior Mathews recorded 90 plus tackles. This season he already has 126.
-“He’s averaging about three more per game,” Readhead said. “By far, he’s clearly our best player on defense. And he has played running back this year and gives us a lot of power at that position.”
-“Right now it’s Marshall, Florida and Miami,” Readhead said.
Anyone have film on this kid? Since Marshall is involved maybe grades are concerns?
