I actually have and there are prospects I scratch my head that the coaches have not went after, when studying dlinemen its all about evaluations and not ratings, awhile back I listed off several prospects who were not rated on any site but now they are blowing up. The staff needs to target athletic dlinemen, and make the scheme simple and fun, what position does this guy even play? Why haven't we offered his jc teammate on the dline?

I think he is part of the class of 2015, but there was a chance we could make it work for 2014. No clue if there is an update on that, but it was my takeaway at the time.
This also appears to be a good example of "everyone needs to CTFO" when it comes to this recruiting stuff. A month ago if we had taken him as a late add everyone would have flipped their ****, another "Golden gem". Now he gets offered by UiF and his stock is way up and people will ***** if we DON'T get him.

Any new developments with this kid? I would love to have him as a late addition to add depth behind Pierre.
He took a visit to Arkansas for their spring scrimmage.

Uh oh...the magical kingdom of Arkansas.....where young boys go and get swallowed up by the siren sound of .....hogs. (Sooie!) They vanish into the magical kingdom, playing lacrosse in their spare time, never to be seen in the real world again. (Look at Alex Collins....oh wait, you can't.).
We'll never get this kid away from the Magical Kingdom...where children with braided hair and, sometimes, grills....are never to be seen again as they live an eternal life surrounded by those legendary Arkansas seductresses.... You remember Paula Jones. 72 virgins to some Muslims is like the Arkansas pom-pom squad is to football players.
Those chicas from south Florida are hot...but you're talking Gennifer Flowers here....no comparison. Would you rather watch Reality Kings girls in south Florida or just hear about how Paula Jones destroyed the will of the future most powerful man on earth? And that was before her nose job!
(As hot as she is, and a true danger to the willpower of the strongest man, Hillary Clinton is not a true Arkansan. Do you remember her thighs when she was slow dancing in a bathing suit with Bill? That's like seventh grade, when you were sitting in a long class and you just look at some girl and you think it's going to pop as the bell rings and you have to get up to walk to the next class. If you're carrying a notebook or one of those big social studies textbooks, you kiind of walk with it hunched over and the book kind of toward the front because you don't want anybody to see. Well if he is choosing UM he needs to hurry up so he can make it for summer session 1 and the same would apply for UF since they started their summer session last week.

In recent years, Hutchinson (Kans.) Hutchinson C.C. has sent several players to big time programs, including Cordarrelle Patterson, Markus Golden, Ben Bradley, Kenny Flowers, Toby Johnson and Demetrius Alston. While over a third of the current Hutchinson roster are in-state players, over a dozen come from Georgia, with close to double-digit Palmetto State players as well. Head coach Rion Rhoades says the success of former Blue Dragons has helped make his program an easy sell to future players in both states.
Lewis is the No. 2 juco prospect in the country according to 247Sports.
“That is how you have success at this level,’ Rhoades said. “You get them out there - but then they have to have a good experience here. We work hard to build relationships with the coaches in Georgia and South Carolina.”
This year, Hutchinson boasts a roster that could rival Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi C.C., with double-digit FBS signees in the 2015 class. The group, which Rhoades says received 82 visits from FBS coaches this spring, is headlined by running back Alvin Kamara and defensive linemen Marquavius Lewis and Jeremiah Ledbetter.
“I feel like this is the best team we have had - in terms of pure talent and how the guys are motivated to win a championship here,” Rhoades said. “One thing I have challenged them about is that as good as we have been the last five or six years we have not won a conference championship - so that has them pretty hungry.
“It has been pretty cool to see their different paths come together and be excited about how good they can be as a football team. Our hardest workers have been our best players - Marquavius, Ledbetter and Alvin - all those guys love to practice, workout and play the game.”
Lewis and Ledbetter have had college coaches coming in droves to see them this spring. An athletic duo that both move and bend well for being over 270-pounds, the feedback from interested coaches are that their explosiveness and quick hands should allow them to both play defensive end on first and second downs and move inside to apply pass rush as a three-technique on third downs.
Lewis, a Greenwood (S.C.) native and the No. 2 juco prospect in the 2015 class according to 247Sports, recently visited South Carolina, and said following the visit they were his top school. Rhoades does not see Lewis, who has mentioned a preference to staying close to home, leaving the Southeast.
“I feel pretty confident Lewis is thinking SEC,” Rhoades said. “Beyond that, I do know that Alabama is a definite interest to him. He likes Auburn and really likes the guys at Arkansas too. They have done a great job recruiting him to this point. There are some really good DL coaches recruiting him - Brad Lawing at Florida.
“I think South Carolina is a player, even Clemson has offered him. Clemson has not offered anyone since I been here. Last time I had a guy go to Clemson I was at Coffeyville. I am sure there is some appeal to going back home, but Lewis is a smart young man and environment is important to him.”
Former Alabama RB Alvin Kamara will likely end up at Georgia or Tennessee.
