from St. Peter's Prep in NJ, said on facebook he just got a University of Miami offer. I think he is a RB. He's a good kid, busts his *** in everything.

Yeah I played basketball with him in 8th grade, he's ******* huge. Fast and quick too. When you look at him on the basketball court and see his combination of speed and strength you say "That's a runningback"

Nice keep us updated on him, do you know if he has legit interest in Miami?

I don't know, I haven't talked to him since we were in 8th grade. I actually had to ask a friend that has kept in touch with him on if the scholarship was for football or basketball, lol.

This is what his facebook said.

Blessed to say that I picked up my 10th offer from the University of Miami. A couple years ago I wouldn't have believed it. #PraisingGod

What's the latest on this kid and his interest in UM with D. Cook being off the table now.

I like this kids down hill style and he has a UM offer already an being 210lbs running a 4.52 sec 40yd time is just what UM needs. Hillman is also a track guy which is great for keeping up that speed, especially coming from NJ.

Go Canes

Hi RagingWolf...

Jonathan Hillman caught my eye last year. He's a big back with a downhill running style, running for 1,400 yds on 113 rushes and 21 TDs last year. Miami offered him on May 15, 2012. Either Jonathan expressed little interest in UM or the Canes have cooled on him. At this time, there appears to be little recruiting activity between the parties. That could change in the future. His Facebook quote is odd.

NICE looking prospect! Love his vision and the one step cut and get down hill. His style reminds me of Rodney Hampton (UGA and NY Giants). Another big back that had that one step quick cutting ability.

I thought for the longest that he had an offer because he has had the goods for a while. Now with that said i wont say that he's better then Cook because i obviously havent seen him enough, but he's a bruiser who with that cut and on this offensive line can dominate here so he's a definite top 10 back in this class

WOW look at how fast he accelerates out of the backfield! that's unbelievable! **** meeting that in the hole at 210 lbs.!!! jesus...

He does have an offer from UM. However, it's probably not a "commitable" offer at this time. I agree this kid is a good prospect. However, the bottom line is the Canes need a BIG back to compliment Elder and Yearby in future years. Gus is one potential solution. For this class, Sony is the #1 choice as big back. Hillman is probably Plan B. Nice Plan B.

Let's watch as Sony determines his future school soon.

I agree with everything except the idea that they woeldnt bring him in also. Cook is a stud so we obviously would be interested but even if Sony came what's the harm in bringing in a third back in this cycle?

You could very well be right. I just don't believe the Canes want to use 3 slots for running backs. With Yearby already in the fold, Sony is our target. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. I believe it was September of 1987. Lol! Que Sarcasm.

ESPN 300 RB Jon Hilliman RT @J_M_H23: So it's looking like I'm gonna be at RU July 24-25th Michigan July 27-28th and Miami August 11th!!!

I think #Canes are the sleeper for the ESPN 300 RB Jonathan Hilliman

If fournette commits to U-M it would clog up the backfield with him and green. Therefore, it might give miami the inside track with this guy.

****, kid really explodes thru the hole. Once he gets a step, there's not much hope of catching him. I like
