and this says the interest is "cool" as opposed to warm or warmer (St. Johns is the only warmer)

A couple of points.

1) We've been involved with him for awhile, but have only offered recently.
2) I think the reason we offered is because he says that he is committing on April 18th. We strongly prefer a 5th year graduate transfer, but I imagine by April 18th, we'll have a strong sense of who is out there and what chances we have at them.
3) With the Reggie Johnson comparison, he sounds similar but there is good news to go along with it - one is that he's a bit taller (listed at either 6'10" or 6'11") and that he already seems to have his weight under control - listed anywhere from 255 to 280 on most sites at this point. I'm sure his conditioning would need to be watched, but it speaks well for him that he would come in close to 80 pounds less than where Reggie did (I believe most people reported him at between 340 and 350 his freshman year).
