2008 class 3.33 average stars from rivals and scout
2014 class 3.46 scout 3.38 rivals both greater than the 2008 class
what class would you rather have?
the key will be developing players, you cant get much worse than Randy

hindsight is 20/20 so you're probably not going to get many good answers out of this. way too easy to pick apart that 2008 class and compare them to a bunch of guys that we just got and are feeling good about.
 
I do like this class a lot. I am praying that they will develop into studs. Just kind of feels like a lot of people are down on this class when they should not be. I don't know if we ever had a class with this high of a star rating.
 
I'd give the edge to 2014
QB - push - 1 big recruit with questionable signings behind
RB - 2014 - 2008 just had fullbacks
WR - 2008 - numbers
OL - 2014 - McDermott & Darling > Washington & Jones
TE - 2014 - 2008 no TE
DT - push - 2008 obviously had the biggest recruit, but I think the Jucos help make up the gap.
DE - 2014 - no contest
LB - 2008 - I like this group, but Spence and Brown along with Futch and Bucahnon
DB - 2008 - slight edge, both had questionable signing Wylie v. Mayes
