Good times then.I've asked this before why when we were great why didn't we implement a program to build and develop both sides of the line.Nebraska I remember as a kid in the seventies had an oline program.laugh at me if you want.but it was very successful for 3 decades.
 
McKinnie destroyed Freeny in that game. **** i miss the west endzone of the OB. I remember the family plan during those years was 99 bucks 2 adults, 3 children.

Yes they did. Redshirted all freshmen online and beefed them up in weight room like cattle. Didn’t drug testing kind of put an end to it?
 
Watching that it still amazes me at the dudes who come in from the bench. Where Big Daddy and Andre Johnson backups that year? Gore pops in for a play. Willis is nowhere to be seen. What a team. Why the heck is Butch NOT here!

Was at that game, great performance all around. I was scheduled to go to the UW game that year but once it was rescheduled after 9/11 I couldn't make it work, went to this game instead.

Think it left with Osborne or the coach after him when he left.never heard of Nebraska getting into trouble with the steroids etc.

I’m not sure they did or not but I think the ncaa was starting to crack down and those big old Midwest boys sure looked jacked back then. Bama looks that way across the board, but I bet saban has secret sauce they aren’t testing for.

Good possibility sad thing is nothing is going done about until a player has catastrophic event happen to them while doing the stuff or the effects show up years later like the steroid thing did.

Amazing hook up with that Family Plan. Best bang for your buck ever. Now we have the opposite. Dog **** HC ( & by association dog **** team ) & the facking tickets are 10 times more expensive.

glad I lived & thoroughly enjoyed our moment in the sun. Now we are in perpetual darkness.
