30 year old diapers @gruntking, Man we were the sh t! Wow, trying not to be bias but man our teams from these days would handle business today.

I'm still disappointed with that taint* game, we should of came out of there with the National Title back then... ******* piece of shlt porter.
Brother... I still remember walking the short tunnel to my OB 12 yardline row 32 seats in the closed end and having complete confidence that we were gonna kick the ****t out of whoever our opponent was. Having lived 22 years in those seats makes what we are seeing today a **** heartbreak... that can have been prevented if the BOT and the school not abandoned football as they have. SMH

God bless you my brother. Hey, I flew down from Jersey twice a year, sometimes 3, from 1996-2009 for games, and could tell you the same thing. I gave up my seats and everything that came with it. I'm not wasting my money or time for a bunch of d!cks that don't put football, what put Miami on the map, first!

Happy New Year @gruntking, I will reach out and talk it up with you soon. be safe and say hello to your wife. Hope all is well.

Go Canes!! "One day soon, again" GN!

A program run effectively and efficiently. Infuriating what it has come to today.

You seem to think you're extremely knowledgeable as to how the program was/is run.

What has changed? Please use facts and show your work if you'd like to receive credit.

I'm really curious to see how informed you are on this subject.

It's called "all about the UHealth"

You must not be remotely aware that a key component of many academic rankings, in addition to driving consistent revenue for a major University, is a strong hospital system.

Are you an alum? It's weird how I spent six figures on a degree and actually care about the strength of it.

But hey, Bama is really producing some graduates getting jobs in major global corporations and research institutions.

I’m very aware of how UHealth is creating revenue. My wife retired from the U’s surgery department and I made good friends with her chief and other faculty MDs... we have discussed how UHealth was getting real big, plus my wife was privy to ledger numbers. My son graduated from the U and I have seen first hand how his degree helped in his success.
I’m also aware from previous encounters with you here that you are not a pleasant member to exchange with and you‘re ate up with yourself.
Look, I don’t come on here much anymore so please spare me your demeaningly smug posts.
But hey you have a Happy New Year.

This is the divide, you have people that actually give a **** about the school and its continued success across the board, they are called stakeholders. Unfortunately, the typical Miami "Fan" isn't a stakeholder, in a lot of cases, they have never spent significant time around a stakeholder due to our miniscule numbers. You see that lack of understanding in conversations like this.

They think that Tad Foote was some football centric administrator when in reality, he wasn't. The ONLY difference between Foote and Shalala(Outside of Shalala being a superior fundraiser and President), is that Foote had someone like Sam Jankovich running the show and a younger Paul Dee, who lucked out on Butch after Erickson drank his way out of town.

What's funny is that Foote had little contact with the student-athletes, didn't really give a **** about them(Jimmy parlayed that into his "Us against the world" tool). Dr. Shalala was extremely popular with student-athletes, mostly because she embraced them as people. There's a reason why bringing prospective student-athletes to her office during official visits became a thing.
