If anything, they will want to rank us high to help Notre Dame get that quality W or as ND folks like to show off around the country, a Quality L!!

Some advice brother.

When you catch this ban, don't do like most others do (myself included) and make another account. The Maudes will extend your ban even further. Just take the week long vacation, still visit the site as a guest (watch those *** ads) to see all of us say, "man, thank God Orpheus was banned, what a putz", and we'll see you in a bit. Go Canes.

They got in because of their past legacy. They got in with rules for thee and not for me (us). They got in because the committee didn't want to penalize them for losing their conference championship game, yet did not apply the same logic and reasoning to BYU. Yeah, they beat UGa by 3 early in the season, but they also got SMOKED by a pretty lousy FSU team and lost to Oklahomo (same OU team whose only good win came against Michigan early in the season) before losing again to UGa in the SUC championship game. BYU lost two games last year - both to Texas Tech. They beat Arizona and Utah, Arizona won 9 games and Utah won 11.

I don't care about the details nearly as much as I care about the conflicting "logic" to justify why certain teams got penalized for losing their conference championship game and others did not, hence my commentary.

Alabama got in because of their 4 game BS gauntlet against ranked teams who beat NO ONE themselves. They swept that FSU drubbing under the rug, and tried to claim it was just an early season mulligan. More BS. That was exactly who Alabama was. A terrible team that got stomped by a bad FSU team. They then escaped into the comfy confines of an over-rated SEC and looked good beating up terrible teams.

Just look at two games. ND against Arkansas and Louisville against Kentucky. Us against Florida is another one, considering Florida rag dolled Texas the next week. Back to my point. ND beat Arkansas far worse than any SEC team could. Louisville beat Kentucky so bad they fired Mark Stoops. The SEC was BAD last year, and all they wanted to do was blow smoke up pollsters behinds about how it was the ACC who sucked, while the SEC was still so **** good they might have to expand the top 25 to 30 teams just to get all the SEC teams in.

I'm sick of idiot polls. Sick of them. There is no way any pollster can watch every game in a week. Then, they want to rank those teams they didn't even watch play? Stop this fraud immediately and go to the NFL model. ***** polls.

Alabama got in because SEC. Period. Not debating the other stuff you wrote, just cutting right to the chase.
That said, I'd like to see one, and only one, set of rules that decide who's in and who's out. I would also like that set of rules to adhere to some sort of universal logic that does not bend for all things SEC. It's not asking that much, but alas....ncaa.

Yes, because of SEC bias those 4 teams, especially UT, Vandy, and Missouri, were ranked way higher than they deserved. They literally beat no one with a pulse. I hate polls, and anything that can be skewed with bias.

I do too, but because there are like 130+ DI teams, there's always going to be polls involved. All I would like is some sort of uniformity and fairness. I know, novel ideas for sports.

Cool. I have 100 posts in 7 years, I prefer sitting back and watching insightful posters. Haven’t really had any problems with anyone. So if I catch a ban I’ll respect it, ya know cuz I’m a man. No issues there,. Thats for the Maude’s to decide. If people think im a putz. I mean I have no clue what that is so no problem.

Here’s advice to you homie. Maybe ban those who actually contribute nothing to a conversation. Maybe ban trolls. Maybe ban the closet fans of other teams that come on here talking nonsense. But if im banned because I had the audacity to answer a question from the OP (who asked this because he is also unsure if we will be number 2 at that time) then as you say I won’t make another account. I’ll take a vacation and as you say revel in thanking God, Orpheus was banned. Until then I’ll see you around the boards, playa. 🫡
