Man.. just destroy UVa and Pitt. I want the Clemson game to be a top 4 match-up.. because what would hurt a fan base more then losing to a team you beat 58-0 just 2 years ago in a winner take all game with the whole world watching.

I grew up reading Sammie Batten's (Fayetteville Observer)sports column. VERY pro UNC, but don't get why he has been down on UM.

Hopefully this team is mature enough to handle success and all the praise they’ll be getting this week. Virginia and Pitt are classic trap games.
 
Listen I think we are and should be ranked #1 but I would prefer a few more weeks of disrespect and then just the fourth place in the playoff -- disrespect does us well. That said, fu..k yeah.

Why wouldn't they be as the season plays out?

Week one, would you have had us at #2 ? What about at week 3? 5? 7? How about after out UNC game?

People are wrong all the time about teams. Heck, even the team is probably a bit shocked at this point. The great thing, they've come together and now believe after the last two performances and the sky is the limit.

Disrespect doesn't do us or we wouldn't have had any bad years. One of the most overplayed sports cliche there ever was.

ESPN seriously needs to rework their FPI. ND is 9th, Miami 12th, and VT is 15th. A two loss ND team we beat by 5 TDs is higher, and a three loss VT we beat by more than 2 TDs is three spots lower?
