Our booster club set up an opportunity for all players to be tested for free in mid June. It was voluntary, but we did a seminar about why we thought it was important. 100% of our players participated. Now we have a questionnaire we have to fill out daily. Symptoms + temperature check + possible exposure, etc. Anyone that has been possibly exposed to someone that has tested + cannot participate and are encouraged to seek.medical advice beyond our excellent medical staff. My understanding is the kids in the other sports went to get checked because of the due diligence of their guardians or were at the Dr for another reason.
Been coaching since the 90s. in the past we have always lovingly encouraged players to fight through stuff and to attend workouts and practices. Not anymore. We actually are encouraging kids to stay home unless they feel 100%. No repercussions for missing right now. We are completely voluntary until the 27th.
 
My cousin passed with COVID-19 if you arent completely healthy be careful with it. Im looking at people who are overweight not taking it serious and I don’t understand.

My point stands. UVC kills it.

Several studies now purport that sunlight can kill coronavirus under certain conditions. Look it up.

It doesn’t mean you can’t catch it in the summer.

Put it this way, where would you rather be, indoors socially spaced, or outdoors socially spaced, in terms of where you think the odds are of catching this virus.

It’s outdoors, and it’s not even close. In addition to the possibility of sunlight, those particles will most likely updraft if someone happens to have it in the crowd, as long as there’s distance your odds are way better.

The only time you don’t want to be outdoors, is if you’re pressed shoulder to shoulder, in other words large crowds close together, like you've seen at some of those pool parties - that’s a really bad idea.

i’ve been running on the beach more, and even though I see people, nobody’s close enough for me to even worry about it.

Completely agree. UVc kills it but it doesnt make it way past ozone.

Being outdoors is absolutely better during current conditions but it has nothing to do with UVC radiation killing micro bacteria, is all I was saying.
I was being a sarcastic son of a ***** on the first post cause of Google doctors claim that cures it. Wasn't being a ****, I mean on purpose haha

Probably being outdoors is better under pretty much every condition. I think people are mostly catching the stuff inside, like in bars, and restaurants that don’t follow decent spacing.

With the exception of knuckleheads that have crowded pool parties and beachside humpathons

Us anal retentive ordinary Americans are the only road block. Regardless of this November, probably a terrifingly bloody civil war will make the final decision eventually. I have no idea what or who the bundesina is but it sounds German so yeah they are in it.
