UNC is 16-6 (6-3)

They are 3-4 on the road, 7-3 in their last 10 and won 3 straight.

UNC's next two games #8 Miami (2/9) and #4 Duke (2/13), that is rough because both are top 10 teams and both on the road. Now I have no idea whether UNC will look past us because of the big game with Duke next week, but it is good timing IMO. I think you all know about UNC so there is no real point talking about them.

Let's go in a different direction....

For those scared of UNC, it is bull ****. You are just scared of our team and the success we have had so far. You are scared because you don't think good things can happen for us. Now UNC could win this game, they are still a good team and a likely tournament team (probably finished ranked) but we're a better team. We already beat them, at their place. They are capable to win on any night and have very skilled players.

Now I don't know how many teams finished the ACC season undefeated (Coach K once, Roy Williams never, Dean Smith twice, I am sure a few others) but is a very difficult task. I would say it is really fucccccccccccckkkking hard. I expect (sorry to say it), to lose 1-3 games in the ACC this year because **** happens when you party naked. My point is not to be debbie downer, but to state that is an incredible task. What Coach and this team have accomplished deserves credit and utter support by the fans, don't be scared just be rational.

2 Really Difficult Games Left

UNC and @ Duke (hardest left)

Just win, baby...GO CANES!

I am more scared of the away games to be honest. We seem to be finding our groove at home, and have had big wins there. most of them double digits.

This UNC game still makes me uneasy, but only because they have those Carolina blue uniforms on.

I honestly think we should win this game, not with ease, but pull away in the 2nd half like we have done all season. UNC seems to have very slow starts. If we can pounce on them early and get them off their game, it could be a long afternoon for them.

UVA is a thorn in our side in ALL sports. They just seem to get up for us.

I am worried about them but rationally thinking...ANYONE should expect 2 or 3 losses. You don't just cruise through the ACC.

We should have beaten UVa last year up there and I still think we were more deserving of an NCAA spot than they were. It's like UVa was a preseason "****" pick, and the committee just put them in despite them not having a strong resume. They were never even mentioned as a bubble team, which is weird. Ok, rant over.

As for this year, at home we should beat them.

As long as we feed our bigs and get McAdoo in some foul trouble we should be good. It will be a hard fought game, but I think we will pull away in the 2nd half.

Not scared at all. Remeber this team beat UNC in Chapel Hill without Reggie. They lack size and depth which means McAdoo is going to have to defend Kadji, Gamble, or Reggie. Just feed the bigs down low and make McAdoo work.

Biggest target ever on our back right now. Those kids have to understand that and I think they do.

Our bigs have to play strong inside and we have to hit our three's.

Just heard on the Heat broadcast that James Jones bought courtside seats for this game. He was gonna take his wife, but she has a wedding to go to, so instead he's taking Lebron and Wade to the game.

Hopefully our mature team that are like the old guys at the Y with the knee braces and the Ben-*** can play enough to impress them without getting out of control.

""Uhhh, guys; this game is being played IN MIAMI.

Very, very tough win for us.

They could completely blow us out, but I expect something more along the lines of a 15-point U victory; sorry but I just don't see us going down there and beating them on their floor. They're just too strong this year.""

I'm pretty sure Heat players have been to games before. I think Wade and some others were at the UNC game last year too.
