Really hoping we start to put more pressure on defenses as year goes on. Force the defense to make a play instead of all these routine fly balls hunting the long ball

Yep. Good pitching almost always beats good hitting. So, great pitching vs average hitting makes it really tough. The hope is the hitters develop throughout the year and are playing well in May.
