I have a feeling Urso's days as a starter are numbered once Cyr is back. Jimenez is the SS of the future for 2 - 3 years. Let him develop.

Hey, that was me. I’m not going to specify anything to respect the privacy of this young man and his family, but definitely a serious situation. I’m sure it’ll come out soon enough. I wouldn’t count on him for the weekend.

That was my preseason takeaway. There’s nothing wrong with Urso. He’s a solid ballplayer, but he needs to be better than Jimenez to justify leaving the freshman on the bench.
