1st Scrimmage of the Spring

Invalid.

Why are you including scrimmages from when he was a true non-early enrolling freshman. Last year’s scrimmage stats don’t count for shlt for Perry. Meaningless. Idiotic to include them. Makes me think you have an agenda

Lol. They don't count? What kind of non-sense is that ****? I'm sure they would have counted if his numbers were great. Idiotic is to say they count. Dude's are competing at the highest levels, true frosh starting all over the country, but yet Perry is excused. Pretty clear who has the agenda here.

No. They don’t count for evaluating him for this year.

And you’re an idiot if you think they do.

He didn’t early enroll last year. He was a true freshman. Wipe the slate clean.

The only scrimmages that matter for Perry are this year’s

You think the coaches are going to take last year’s scrimmages as a consideration? Don’t be an idiot. It’s all about this year.

Imagine if we had Rosiers scrimmage stats from his first three years? Ouch

You clearly are slow, if you think if Perry is showing the sames issues he did last Fall, that the coaches won't recognize that as someone who is not progressing and consider that.

I mean, what non-sense that the staff would complete ignore bad habits from before if they still present themselves. Go sit on timeout.

After watching Richt's post practice interview here is my OBSERVATION. When talking about the QB's - in particular Rosier and Perry - he seemed to be just giving the facts and stats and relating how Rosier knows what to do, when to do it, etc. and Perry was making progress. When he mentioned JW, I could see his eyes light up a bit and a little grin on his face. These are just observations from reading his body language. In no way am I suggesting anything other than an observation. Take it for what it's worth.

He's not ****ting on Rousseau, but rather commenting that it would be a scary sign for our oline if a freshman who has been on campus 3 months - no matter how talented he is - is putting up those type of numbers against our starters or potential starters. I think everyone can agree that Rousseau seems to have monster potential
Yea you gotta be dense if you don't see that

Kaaya won the job as a summer enrollee with inferior offensive talent around him. No reason to believe JW can't win the job as a spring arrival with better talent on O.
kaaya got the job so golden coudl say I have a true fresh playing. everyone knew ryan williams deserved it.

Richt said it last year and other coaches have said it as well: “…it’s a good sign (of what you have) when the defense is dominant the offense”

If Rosier is just in the 55-58%/game, Miami will be fine.

Perry…I don’t know, but it’s way too early. The same can be said about Williams (5of his 6 completions in skelly).

I’m in agreement with ESPN FPI: Miami is favored in all regular season games and 12-0 predicted

Williams has two sets of stats - one with second team reps: 6/8 86 yds 2 TD and another set for the skelly work: 5/8 71 yds

The comment Richt made about Williams was so telling. I think it was something like “ he doesn’t always know what’s going on but if he throws it he normally hits it”.

I’m starting to think it going to be Williams job at some point this year.

Wasn’t there. Just guessing.

The D threw the kitchen sink at Perry to see how he’d respond.

Same with Rosier.

Doubtful Williams saw the same type of D.

But I’m just guessing.
williams stats are with the 2nd team D - Perry AND Rosier also played with 2nd team D. there's nothing less about them

That's almost verbatim about his quote. Richt is, and has always been, very even keeled as far as I can remember so it's difficult to get a read on his feelings. But, it was pretty obvious to me that his demeanor changed slightly when he started talking about JW. Subtle, but noticeable to me anyway. I'm not going to read a whole lot in to it at this point but it'll **** sure be interesting to see how all this shakes out.

Man, I saw the same. You're right that it doesn't mean his expressions, and enthusiasm is a giveaway of whom he'll pick to start. But it's clear that Coach Richt likes Williams for multiple reasons. It also doesn't hurt that Williams is a guy that the current staff recruited and flipped, as opposed to guys that were recruited by the previous staff (I recognize Jon Richt put in a lot of effort to keep N'kosi on board).

I don't think it has anything to do with recruitment. I think Jarren Williams has the demeanor and dedication to the job that Richt demands. Williams is not only gifted with good football skills, he clearly has a good football IQ as well as a strong work ethic. It's not to take anything away from Nkosi or his ability. He just has a different personality and way of going about his business. Perhaps he hasn't approached taking this job away from Malik with as much determination as Richt would have liked to see. IDK
