1998 UCLA game part two ?

After a disastrous 1997 season, similar to 2022, the 1998 campaigns turning point game and building block to return to prominence was the W vs UCLA. Could the W last night vs TAMU be the 2023 equivalent ?

Cade McNown was a Heisman candidate and UCLA was ranked #2.

No doubt, I’ll take and enjoy the win yesterday. But I don’t think there are many more similarities.

Maybe beating Clem or a big bowl game victory would invoke more similarities to that UCLA win.

No this was 2023 TAMU part 1

Time to stop living in the past and comparing every win to UCLA or every loss to Washington. This team is nothing like them and shouldn't try to be.

UCLA was like a top 3 team and a legit NC contender… Texas A&M not quite in that category.
