1985, 1986 Miami Oklahoma, similar to FSU

So I’m dating myself but those are some of the first games I remember watching. I look at FSUs offense with Mahlzan as similar to Oklahoma back then.

Oklahoma ran the wishbone and no one could stop them. Barry Switzer tried to add a passing element and Troy Aikman was the QB. Miami comes into Norman and the Miami dline just destroyed Oklahoma and Aikmam breaks a leg then transfers. Oklahoma goes on to win the NC with Jamelle Holloway.

In 86, Miamis line once again destroyed Oklahoma and Miami dominated them.

For some reason this game feels so similar where a dominant defensive line wrecks a gimmick offense.
