19 Departing Seniors

You trying to tell me Fentress ain't getting drafted? Dude is the starting safety for the University of Miami for crying out loud.

protip: "couldn't care less" is the right way to phrase it

if you could care less ... that means you care enough right now to be able to care a bit less ... which is basically the opposite of not caring at all lol

5-6 get drafted IMO

Dorsett may be the first drafted because of that speed.
Perryman

CHick
mongo
these guys will be late rounders

Walford will be drafted

Maybe Gunther

I would be shocked if Heaps ins't selected in the draft. He was a 5 star out of HS and QB is a posiion of need in the NFL. The only reason he not starting for his third different major division 1 school is Kaaya is a future first rounder. This guy has Matt Cassell or better written all over him.

lmao.

Thanks Mr. Feeny.

Hucks has become a miserable ******* since traveling with the team. I blame Al Golden

Maybe after traveling with the team he's seen what such a ****ty, miserable fanbase means to the team.

Go on......

I can't imagine the team is very pleased with a fanbase that doesn't show up to games and trashes the program continually, and flies stupid banners.

In so many words. Their coach is their coach. At the very least, I would believe they would like to lean on their fan base.

We haven't been there for them. That's the discussion that needs to take place, not this same old crap about Golden every freaking minute of the day.

too bad homo

Tell it to Denzel, oh wait........

Could care less for the question, but big ups to these guys for the time here.

Couldn't care less for your attitude

Did I miss something? What's going on?

Nothing.

Won't happen.

Perryman - 2nd
Dorsett (pending running that 40 we all think he will) - 3rd
Chickillo - 5th
Feliciano - 5th
Walford - 5th
Gunter - 7th
Armbrister (needs a good combine though) - 7th
Pierre - UFA
McDermott - UFA

The rest nada.

Perryman
Dorsett
Chickillo
Feliciano
Walford
Gunter
Armbrister
Pierre
McDermott
Fentress
Williams
Heaps
Regula
Delapinga
Harvey
Tolson
Akpejiori
Carroll
Casimir

How many get drafted, and in what round?

Definitely drafted:
Perryman (1-3)
Dorsett (2-4)
Walford (3-5)
Chickillo (3-5)
Feliciano (4-6)

Outside shot/UDFA
McDermott (5-7)
Gunter (6-7)
Armbrister (6-7)
Pierre (6-7)

Amazing that there is only 1 5 star guy on the list and the rest are all 3 stars or less coming out. This is why I think the staff does a good job of developing players.

The list above will ALL get shots at the NFL. Every scholarship player last year got a tryout or go to camp with 2 exceptions (Cain and Clements). Cain was not on the team and Clements had injuries. Others included Highsmith, Wheeler, Renfrow, Rodgers, Cornileus. Feliciano and McDermontt are both 4 year starters, not sure if they both get drafted but they should get a shot if Wheeler go a shot.

Rest of them have no chance, mostly walk-ons

I thought perryman was projected as a first rounder. One source had him at 15

They always project like 60 guys for each round, however there are only 32 picks per round. So anytime your are projected for a round, you should just double that number. He could go in the first round, but probably more like a second or third rounder due to his size.

How on earth do some of you have chick getting drafted over feliciano?

Chick may not have lived up to the hype but he is a hard worker and solid player. He also has good size and athletic ability for a DE:

Anthony Chickillo's (6’4”, 282): 4.91-second average 40-yard dash (4.85 best), 4.38 20-yard shuttle, 30 reps of 225, 500 squat, 352 power clean, 385 bench press, 32.5 vertical

If he runs a 4.8 at the combine I think he goes 3rd round. He is very athletic for a guy his size with a good motor. People complain about how the staff made him too big and slow. He came in at around 230, 315 bench, 355 squat, 286 clean. His 40 and vert are about the same. He has prototype size and strength for the NFL. His has the same 40 speed as the skinny Freshmen Chad Thomas and his 20 yard shuttle and vert are better than both Thomas and Jackson who have yet to bulk up.

Feliciano and McDermott both have good size and strength for the next level as well, that is why I think they will both get drafted.
Shane McDermott (6’4”, 300): 5.48 40 (5.44 best), 4.78 20, 27 reps of 225, 500 squat, 301 power clean, 425 bench press, 28.5 vertical
Jon Feliciano (6’5”, 316): 5.37 40 (5.37 best), 4.83 20, 24 reps of 225, 485 squat, 362 power clean, 415 bench press

To me Chick and Feliciano should both be drafted, I had Chick rated higher based on his position and athletic ability.

Here are all the number in case you were curious:

Denzel Perryman (6’0”, 242): 4.71 40 (4.65 best), 4.51 20, 33 reps of 225, 605 squat, 342 power clean, 435 bench press, 31 vertical

Thurston Armbrister (6’3”, 241): 4.73 40 (4.62 best 40), 4.42 20-yard shuttle, 18 reps of 225, 415 squat, 286 power clean, 335 bench press, 32 vertical

Anthony Chickillo's (6’4”, 282): 4.91-second average 40-yard dash (4.85 best), 4.38 20-yard shuttle, 30 reps of 225, 500 squat, 352 power clean, 385 bench press, 32.5 vertical

Shane McDermott (6’4”, 300): 5.48 40 (5.44 best), 4.78 20, 27 reps of 225, 500 squat, 301 power clean, 425 bench press, 28.5 vertical

Jon Feliciano (6’5”, 316): 5.37 40 (5.37 best), 4.83 20, 24 reps of 225, 485 squat, 362 power clean, 415 bench press

Ereck Flowers (6’6”, 324): 5.33 40 (5.29 best), 4.91 20, 34 reps of 225, 475 squat, 286 power clean, 440 bench press, 26.5 vertical

Clive Walford (6’4”, 258): 4.89 40 (4.83 best), 4.53 20, 22 reps of 225, 405 squat, 257 power clean, 350 bench press, 33 vertical

Phillip Dorsett (5’10”, 195): 4.21 40 (4.16 best), 4.07 20, 11 reps of 225, 425 squat, 286 power clean, 290 bench press, 40.5 vertical

Olsen Pierre (6’5”, 300) 425 squat, power clean 286 and bench 375; vertical 25.5

Ladarius Gunter (6’2”, 198): 4.58 40 (4.56 best), 4.33 20, seven reps of 225, 315 squat, 285 bench press, 30 vertical
