At least the 90’s era big men had some redeemable traits that would translate to todays game. Ewing, Robinson, Olajuwon, Smits all had great mid range jumpers that would probably extend to the 3 point line today. But your point still has plenty of merit
 
What makes all this even worse is the following:

Miami was ranked in the top 30 in the nation last year in points scored. The only significant personnel losses on that offense were two wide receivers who BOTH failed to get drafted at the NFL level.

This all results in a team that hasn't scored an offensive touchdown in God knows how many consecutive quarters.

Makes perfect sense. The next time you hear a moronic Cane fan attempt to give you the lazy analysis that this team "doesn't have enough talent"' to move the ball on ****** defenses like Middle Tennessee, North Carolina, and Duke...... go ahead and punch them in the throat.

But Rambo and Harley were such big losses yet Van Dyke, (maybe even Garcia), Parrish, Mallory, Arroyo, Nelson, Rivers, Mesidor, Taylor, Jackson, Agude, Williams, Stevenson, and probably even more will get drafted and be playing on sundays. But we have no talent now and lost the only 2 players with talent last year, 2 guys who weren’t drafted?

Yeah, I thought the same.
I thought Enos was the worst we would ever see.
Never mind Lashlee, I would take Enos back in heart beat over Gattis. ( Not to mention we are paying Gattis twice as much )
I’m truly shocked how bad our offense is.
How is it possible to be that bad? It doesn’t seem real.
 
We got a meathead jock “let’s just run the ball” no critical thinking caveman leading this team. They’ll make good speeches give good sound bites (and recruit well) but when they struggle in any area where thinking is involved
 
It’s the year 2022 and TrumpyCane would never think to see a team with less than 65 yards passing

If Gattis is back next season season ticket sales will plummet. Offensive skill recruiting will be impossible.
