I wanna say you're full of crap and that's giving them too much credit. And then.... we let BCC run the ball up and down the field on our "TOP 5 D."

I know we'll win, but unfortunately, this will be way more of a dog fight than the Cane homers think it will be.

All facts presented at the moment = Canes 38 ARKST 24 and the game's not put away completely until like 6 minutes left.

If the D gets its collective heads out of their tails (including Diaz) then Canes 45 ARKST 13

If the D plays like it thinks it's a contender for the playoffs and regains the momentum from the end of last season, then Canes 49 ARKST 3. But let's be honest, this last score ain't happenin'.
 
One of the bigger factors in determining which team will win is the running game. Ark St did a poor job of that vs Neb mainly because they have virtually no returning starts on the OL while we have 100. Huge advantage UM.

On D they return 5 starters from a squad that wasnt all that great last year and so I see us scoring on +70% of our possessions.

Ark St will be throwing the ball all day long with only an occasional run to try and catch us off guard. This will inevitably lead to plus turnovers in our favor which is another determining factor in the victor.

Talent level will be lopsided and Richt has already been quoted that FSU is not even a thought until business is taken care of with Ark st.

Prediction: We play hard -have a good game plan and cover the spread.

I predict asses are getting chewed out, adjustments are being made, we are healthy, pinkney is back, app state all over again.
 
I'll bet Canes at -14.5 but I'm hoping the line drops to <14. One dimensional offense by Ark State plays into the hands of our defense. Good game to watch, but I'm really feeling this is going to be a strong Canes game.
 
Arky State scored 10 points in the second half vs. Nebraska.
Nebraska gave up 36 ppg last year. That ranked 92nd in the country.

Here's a quote from a writer from Husker Illustrated (or whatever).
"The inability of Husker defenders to get off blocks was a major issue.”
Nebraska is a very average football team.

The plays I watched, I saw zero pass rush from Arky State.
I'd like some input on this from one of you nuts who watched the whole game.

I say 21 points.
Only because Richt's main concern in the 4th will be getting outta there injury free.

Sorry didn't mean to down vote. The game was not posted in Vegas as far as I know. Not in most casino's anyway. But this game with Ark state with FL St right afterwards is a take the points game. I rarely bet Miami games, gotta keep your heart out of betting if you want to make money. I won't be betting this one.

Which means early action wagered HEAVY on TINY Arkansas St. Ouch! I just hope Miami corrects the secondary issues pronto. Otherwise, this game could be closer than previously expected. hUh. Nevertheless, I still SEE-r Miami covering the point spread.

That Herbie CornSUCKER team is ' overrated ' again. And will finish 6-6, or worst. Just U wait and see!
 
Just want to point out two things

1. Nebraska is installing a new 3-4 defense
2. Nebraska was up 41-26 w 10 minutes left (Nebraska went into prevent?)

This should be a very interesting and fun game to watch. I expect a hard fought game from both sides. Prayers to all of you in the path of the hurricane. Come to NE Arkansas and escape that nightmare for awhile.
