Jameis is the prototypical nightmare of a qb for us. Outside of that game, we will be favored out but need to avoid the typical reoccurring noshows for the uncs and Virginia's of the world.

Lets keep in mind that Jameis has played even less competition than we have. He plays for the Noles, so naturally he will quickly become the product of ESPN hype. It should be noted that his supposed "coming out party" against Pitt was dulled this Saturday when Duke's lot of academic all-stars dropped more than half a hundy on that defense. Jameis has to prove it even moreso than our Canes do.

He does look pretty good though...but we gon spank that ***!!

I don't know if we go undefeated this year or not but I am **** sure happy with this teams progression and know it's a matter of when, not if.
 
The good news is we still have a shot to go 14-0. The probability of it happening is about 3-5%.

i'm not sure how some of you don't realize how difficult it is to go undefeated and have a team keep focus week in and out over the course of 3+ months. college football is way different than it used to be. the first 5 bcs champions were undefeated, but there have only been 4 undefeated championship teams since then. every team needs to be insanely focused and catch a break here and there. bama needed terrance cody to block a field goal against tennessee in 2009. auburn needed an insane comeback in the iron bowl. ****, even the 2001 canes needed an interception to beat boston college and was a dropped conversion away from overtime against virginia tech. if we get those breaks, we have a shot, but we haven't even been able to prove that we won't drop a crappy game yet. i'd like to see us to play a complete game against a complete opponent before drawing any conclusions (if you watched the uf-tennessee game, you'll know that their offense is just that bad). if we make it past fsu, we could potentially be undefeated, but that's the only clear litmus test we have available because the jury is still out on georgia tech. on paper, we should be 10-2 in the worst case scenario at the end of the regular season with our schedule. if we get the breaks, we could be 12-0 going into the acc championship, but i'd like to see us play a complete team first.

I think this is the year that we win our division. I highly doubt go undeafeted overall, we should go undeafeated in our division. We look like the best team on our side. I don't know why people are worried with GT, UnC or VT. They all look very unimpressive so far.

On ESPN the percentage each team had of going undefeated the canes had the tenth best percentage in college football the games they had a percentage of losing were north carolina and FSU

we back, but we keep going back 10+ yrs to get hyped. We don't need old **** to get hyped for this game. Time to create history **** living in the past.
