FYI

The Hurricanes finished ranked #13 in the final AP Poll. We were ranked #18 in the AP pre-season poll. We made it up to #2 before the Pitt game. Next season is going to be exciting. LSU will kick it off.

How the F*#k is ND ranked ahead of us at #11 ?

The ranking system is fuqed up real bad its a broken system,,,,,,no one should ever make the playoffs I dont care if u were the best team all year and not even play in your conference championship. Unbelievable how fuqed up the system is, win your conference period. Everyone says osu lost 2 games **** the giants lost 7 and won the ship. Its so broken its ridiculous the whole **** is corrupt. U cant leave it to peoples opinions u have to set goals and marks and make that the rules to get in and thats it no more bytching, a conference title game should be considered a playoff game period.

Completely agree. No team should be considered if they do not AT LEAST win their division. That should be the basic requirement. Bama should not have even been in this playoff I don't care if they were the best team in history. UCF should have gotten that spot. Maybe they get their a$$ whipped or MAYBE they pull out a massive upset, like we did for our first NC. The game is played on the field.

So we’re sitting here saying that the team who beat #1 and #3 in consecutive weeks in the playoffs and won the national championship didn’t “deserve” to be there because they lost one Road game at night against their arch rival?

Ok.

I’ll take #1 3, but putting us behind ND strains credibility. That said, it means they respect our home field again. We put that crap to bed this year. It was a fun year with a lot of progress made, even if it doesn’t feel like it at this moment. There’s work to do, but we’re closer than we feel.

I’ll take it since we end up with 3 Ls to close out the season. First top 15 finish in I dont Know how many years tbh

I will take it, but I sure don't feel like we were the 13th best team in the land. Very humble ending to the season to say the least.

Better than the next choice OSU who got blown out twice.

At the end of the year we were not the 13th best team. But that was because we lost our top 3 offensive players.

Don't even get me started on Notre Dame being ranked ahead of Miami.

I'm OK with 13. It's a marked improvement and continues the upward trend. Richt has made Miami relevant again. Let's see if he can make the next jump, form relevant to serious contender.

Their best win was against LSU. The same LSU that lost to Troy. If that's a resume that gets you into the playoffs...... Oh wait, they had the best quality loss. Auburn... Last time I checked, Auburn has 4 losses, so yeah.

I'm actually surprised we finished that high. ND ahead of us is a joke, obviously, but 13 is pretty high for losing three straight. Sets us up well for a top 10 start next season.

Agreed on all points. I was a bit surprised until I saw the other teams in the top 25. Outside the top 5. the rest of the teams all have significant flaws.
